  1. Wow, now I see that Zubčić finished 33rd. Much improved in slalom comparing to the last season, but again and AGAIN so close (only 0.08 off...).
  2. Sablikova and Wust are in an awful shape.
  3. If anything, I'm pretty sure New Zealand's song is the oldest song entered so far? Just like the Uruguayan song is surely the shortest ever.
  4. Like seriously, WTF is going on with the Japanese women's team? They have won every event here so far. Ridiculous.
  5. Vidović 31st 0.01 behind 29th place New season, same old outcomes...
  6. I stopped believing that's possible after even Bryan Adams didn't win. I have a feeling that country of our beloved @heywoodu will be victorious this time.
  7. Yeah, I had a strange TISC dream. I'm 34th in the voting draw and I dreamed that my favorite song only received 4 points before my vote.
  8. So only Nigeria and Senegal from sub-Saharan Africa. That's very disappointing...
  9. Those who just missed the cut in semis received a couple of WC points. Zapata is the Colombian in mass start though. Along with the alpine skier they can break their record number of athletes by 200%.
  10. Mass start is cool because a decent number of nations could actually qualify for Olympics. are all provisionally qualified after the first stage, and yet none of them competed in Sochi. But apart from that, mass start is just stupid.
  11. Lol, Dubreuil wins today's 500m (placed 3rd in the B division yesterday). This is so random.
  12. One of the pop-up Katharinas just slotted into 14th place.
  13. Katharina Truppe Katharina Gallhuber Katharina Liensberger Katharina Huber What's with Austrian skiers and that name?
  14. But at least they have more control over sled, otherwise at those higher speeds they would hit the walls more often than the skeleton racers.
  15. Less than 2 years of international sliding... To be honest, Skeleton is the sliding sport with the least amount of skill involved. Results can't be achieved overnight in Luge for example, because lugers can actually control their sleds while skeleton racers' racing lines often include hitting the walls. If you invest a ton of money for equipment and whatnot in skeleton, then you can get instant results (China is just following Korea's footsteps...).
  16. Yay, Lorentzen. But I can already see him finish 11th at the Olympics... At least Poutala isn't in his top shape at the start of the season, maybe a good sign...
  17. You want New Zealand to win gold in team pursuit. Bergsma is making that happen.
  18. It's been confirmed that Germany will lose its team silver.
  19. Irish teams sure get the most curious hand touching rules in their play-offs.
  20. Gotta love those commentators. Waiting to hear "She stopped the bleeding." for the first time this season.
  21. Any particular example? Though if I'm not mistaken this applies only for Olympics.
  22. I think you can't be upgraded if you have a doping case in the past. So I guess 5th might get silver and 6th bronze? Anyway, there is a case of that Greek sprinter whose silver didn't get upgraded to gold after Marion Jones' disqualification (because she had a doping case herself).
