  1. But then again, there are A LOT of parameters that will decide her junior-senior career transition. Growth spur for example can change everything (it often does for such skaters), and even Zagitova can still "disappear" because of that... Only time will tell.
  2. Her technical score was only... 11 points higher than Zagitova's gold medal routine.
  3. Marenić apparently plans to return, but not in 470 and after Tokyo.
  4. Zdrahalova and Kikuchi will really enjoy those 5000m.
  5. I guess you didn't quite catch the point... Check the name of this thread.
  6. Sailing will provide the first direct Olympic qualifications starting this Summer. This is a preview of our chances. At this moment I guess we have a chance to qualify in 7 events. Men's Laser - Tonči Stipanović should be the name once again. Men's 49er - 470 gold medalist Šime Fantela paired up with his brother Mihovil. They are good for qualification, hopefully for something more too. Men's Finn - We should qualify here too. Kljaković-Gašpić hasn't competed since Rio, so I don't know if he plans to return. If not, then it will be between Vujasinović, Bugarin and Olujić. Men's RS:X - Mratović could be going to his 4th Olympics, but the quotas have been reduced so he may struggle. Women's Laser Radial - Tina Mihelić also hasn't been around since Rio. If she doesn't come back then it will be Sandra Lulić. Women's 49er FX - Enia Ninčević and Anđela de Micheli Vitturi formed a nice partnership. Among other result, they were in top 10 at Miami WC this year so I guess they should have a decent chance. Women's RS:X - Palma Čargo had a good result at Youth Worlds last year. Back in Rio the reallocation list went so much down that basically just appearing at the World Championships was enough to qualify, and this time there will be even more quotas in women's RS:X... At the moment we don't have anyone in 470 and Nacra, so that's unlikely.
  7. After a long deliberation, Croatian jury has finally decided to put its entry forward. In this special 10th edition jubilee we will be represented by an up-and-coming singer Jelena Žnidarić (stage name Zsa Zsa) who will perform a song "Kada Budemo Sami" (translated as "When We Are Alone"). I initially heard this song a couple of times on radio, and quite liked it. Hope you'll enjoy it too. Croatia Zsa Zsa - Kada Budemo Sami ("When We Are Alone") Lyrics in Croatian Lyrics in English
  8. Annabelle Collins & Joyero 68%+ at their first International. Awesome. I hoped to see her switching to more International classes (in recent years she appeared at many national shows in Spain) after Tokyo 2020 qualification system came out, which basically secures a quota place for Bermuda. This is a briliant start of her campaign.
  9. In any case, it seems to me there could be 41 nations again. Interestingly, most contests had either 35 or 41 nations, and none of them had 36-37-38-39-40.
  10. Also Chile, Hungary, Vietnam, Ukraine, Egypt and Lebanon. So that all nations that took part gather together for this jubilee. That would be like 60 nations.
  11. I don't think @HawkAussie was mentioned, so here's a shoutout for him.
  12. It will be streamed here. http://www.eurovisionsports.tv/isu/
  13. Damn, Barbancon & Sir Donnerhall needed like 3 strides to cover the whole arena in the extended canter.
  14. Final dressage qualifier in 's-Hertogenbosch just started with a Grand Prix. Live stream is available here.
