  1. Fuchs was very emotional during the medal ceremony. Great to see.
  2. Gold for Fuchs! Arguably the best championship rider out there.
  3. I believe that Denmark was given 4 quotas (and that subsequently one more was returned as Joergensen is already qualified). Still, that is all very circumstantial. I belive the qualification document is intended to work the same no matter who finished 9th.
  4. Some so-called protestor (read attention whore) started running around the arena during Houtzager's round. @heywoodu You will probably hear about this.
  5. Yeah, but from what I understand, the qualification system suggests that only reallocated spots are used for reallocation, and not that they can be combined with already qualified athletes. Czechs finishing 9th is just an accident, not really a rule. Would they be eligible if they finished 14th or 18th? I don't think so.
  6. Overall there is only one reallocated place, meaning that only C1 can be filled. Qualification system doesn't assume that 9th placed boat in C2 already has an athlete qualified in C1.
  7. South African Olympic Committee has started to publish selection policies. As expected, they no longer have blanket bans of continental spots, but they will not be accepting cheap quotas either.
  8. There are 12 boats actually (48 atheltes). But that is the case since 11 athletes already qualified in other events.
  9. Again an easy course. Rotterdam shouldn't have hosted the jumping championships. This arena is way to small to make things interesting.
  10. Well done Henrik!! He had huge problems with the water jump in first two rounds, but not today!
  11. Spain will have to return one quota and that's basically it. I'm assuming they will return K1 200m, meaning Sweden gets in.
  12. Only one reallocation in men's kayak. It should go to Belarus in K1.
  13. I count 10 reallocations in women's kayak. That should mean Russia and Denmark get in. One more reallocation comes from Denmark so we are up to 3. Finally, those 3 quotas shall be reallocated between China in K2 and Sweden in K1.
  14. Looks like Spain might qualify 7 athletes in men's kayak... They will have to return something I guess, possibly their K1 medalist.
  15. While possible, qualification system doesn't suggest that hosts are allowed to have their quotas combined into larger boats. I'm pretty sure it's Poland who got the individual reallocation.
  16. Good news for Pita, Australia maxed out its quotas for men's kayak.
  17. I'm not sure. There is only one athlete place in women's canoe reallocation pool. Technically that's not enough to fill up a C2 boat, so it should go towards C1.
  18. It's unlikely. There are 9 European boats in the final, and only 7 can qualify directly. That puts Italy 3rd in the reallocation list.
