  1. Cool and collected. 72% for Caetano meaning Portugal qualifies. Really cool team. All four of them are riding Portuguese national Lusitano horses, which are completely different than the usual European warmbloods.
  2. I can't believe this. Ireland qualified a dressage team for the Olympics sooner than the jumping team. Also it's a new national record for Renolys.
  3. Meh, Ruoste came so close to grabbing a quota for Finland...
  4. As expected. Dufour meanwhile probably threw away the bronze for Denmark...
  5. Russia was really good here. Almost 73% for Sidneva, they will finish ahead of France.
  6. What a disaster from Sweden. They are probably 5% behind schedule. Silver was their hope, but probably no medal at all...
  7. Yes, she should be able to pull a decent test, but nothnig is safe here. Scores could drop very quickly. Neumayer was for example trending at 71-72% for like 5 minutes, and then dropped to 68% within two movements.
  8. And all of a sudden Portugal is not so safe anymore. Torrao was trending at 72%, but mistakes dropped it to 68.9%... After three riders gone, are holding the Olympic quota places.
  9. Another uneven elimination, this time for Cool. But she was trending around 64% anyway.
  10. DBA Pitty for the piaffes though. Could have been 80% today.
  11. I think they would sooner award Group F quota using rankings. South Africans have been chasing the Certificate of Capability all year. Would be weird if FEI denied them now.
  12. Team Standings after Day 1: 80.233% 76.351% 75.466% 75.295% 72.733% 71.786% 70.047% 69.969% 69.720% 69.472% 69.425% 69.379% 68.137% 67.702% EL Teams in battle for Olympic qualification are in bold. Denmark is still safe. Portugal looks really good too after Torres pulled out a big score. Austria and Switzerland also went better than expected, but they have their work cut out. Ireland is right on expected mark, as is Finland. France and Belgium went worse than expected (and Luxembourg too, of course)... It will be a game of snakes and ladders tomorrow.
  13. Yay Holstein Ireland is lucky to have such experienced riders.
  14. Spook for Wagner's Quater Back Junior, which resulted in him bitting his tongue and getting eliminated... Luxembourg eliminated. And I'm done with Quater Back Junior hype. He spooks at everything these days.
  15. What a meltdown for Verliefden. From 72% midway to 66% (and then up to 68%, but still very bad news for Belgium).
  16. An early mistake, but otherwise pretty good for Bugan. He slots into 12th place (out of 21 riders so far). @hckosice
  17. To be fair, it's not like you can get high marks with an unlevel horse. She would have got about 60% or something.
  18. Chalvignac eliminated - horse unlevel. Interestingly, French judge is the president of the jury, so she had to eliminate Chalvignac.
