  3. Not really. Tests are limited, so there is a limited number of new cases that can be confirmed daily. Let's say one place tests 10k people daily, 8k of whom test positive. If there are 25k positive altogether, then 8k new cases is a big boost. But if there are 50k or 100k altogether, then 8k becomes more and more insignificant. Basically, one number rises, while the other stays the same. Of course the percentages can only go down...
  4. I'm pretty sure the number of daily tests must be limited for various reasons. Therefore, I don't think these percentages deserve much consideration.
  5. Sadly, it happened... First earthquake victim in Croatia since 1880.
  6. Also, why has "COVID-19" part been added? I do realize we like our abbreviations around here, but I'm pretty sure COVID-19 is not a sports federation.
  7. Aaaaand first case in Belize. Continental Pan America is at 100% now.
  8. CHIO Rotterdam, scheduled for late June (!), is cancelled. At this rate, we may not have any sports event for a very, very long time...
  9. I always thought multiplying would be weird and possibly fun. All individual Italian votes get to count, but provided that single juries get their points quadrupled. Bang, we award 48 points to our favorites.
  10. Turns out, yes. There is still plenty of work that needs to be done + I was given an assignment from my (hopefully) future employer that I should try to take a look at. Also, one of the main reasons is that some less active jurors may already have April 11th in their calendars. It would be unfair to change it. And finally, moving it would just mean we have nothing to do on April 11th instead of April 4th, so let's pace out our boredom.
  11. Well, there are plenty of surveillance cameras in the centre...
  12. Fun fact: in the dream, you were the one that was mostly pissed by missing templates.
  13. I had my first hosting nightmare tonight. I dreamt that the big day came and I failed to prepare any of the templates.
  14. Even FIS announced it. Guess there is not much to cover these days. https://www.fis-ski.com/en/cross-country/cross-country-news-multimedia/news/2019-20/stina-nilsson-announces-change-of-discipline
  15. (on the main square, where under the normal circumstances thousands of people pass daily)
  16. Judging by how it looked at 0:35, I guess we are extremely lucky that it happened on an early Sunday morning and during the coronavirus pandemic...
  17. First time in about a month that coronavirus doesn't get top headlines.
  18. Aftermath: 17 injured (incl. 1 critical) 600 buildings damaged
  19. To be fair, I don't think anyone who imposes total lockdowns expects to have it lifted overnight... Not in the least...
  20. Yeah, you can only imagine how I reacted this morning when someone told me: "Earthquake in Zagreb. Cathedral tower fell!" Thankfully it's not that bad (only the very top fell, but it is still a 10-meter section). Nevertheless, pretty much every street in the historic centre seems to be partially covered in rubble... And the worst of it all is that now we have contradicting instructions for two different disasters. People are now asked to stay outside. It doesn't help that Zagreb already had the most coronavirus cases before all this.
