  1. 13 days to go.... ------------------50--------------------------------------25--------------------------------------02----- --------49-----------------48------------------27-----------------24-------------------04----------------01- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --47----------------------------46-------29-----------------------------22-------06----------------------------03 --------------------------------------36--------------------------------------16------------------------------- --45-----------------------38--43-------30--33-------------------18--21-------08--13------------------------05 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------44-----------40---41------------------28--31-------20--23-------------------10--11------------07--- ------------------42--------------------------------------26--------------------------------------09------------- ----------------------39-----------------------------32-------19----------------------------12----------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------37-----------------34-------------------17----------------14------------- --------------------------------------35--------------------------------------15---------------
  2. Coverage by Croatian television will be bad as usual, looking at the schedule for the first few days... There are so many replays in schedule. Ok, replays can be fine but these are not fine because: a) a lot of the replays are actually the replays of events that they broadcasted live b) most of the replays will actually be put during the time when other live competitions are being held London 2012 coverage was like a dream with Eurovision sports TV, which allowed watching anything you like. Perhaps that's why I have such a bad memories of Sochi. Apart from few sports that our television showed, I basically had to rely on bad quality streams (yes, I didn't use VPNs then). And on top of that I missed so much because of school... Eurovision sports TV is again not broadcasting so I'm getting worried that I won't be able to watch even equestrian without some VPN. Olympics should be available to everyone (yes, even those whose host broadcasters are horrible).
  3. ... stand up please ...
  4. Will Semenya race 1500m in Rio?
  5. Bye bye Yordanka
  6. Lavillenie back in business after Europeans.
  7. I believe in her.
  8. Cool, medal for Bahamas.
  9. This group system is a mess really. Some group have 2 athletes, some 3. The only thing that I like about group system is that it allows weaker athletes to do more than one match, so their Olympic experience is longer.
  10. To be fair, all of them will have just 2 in athletics, that's 99%.
  11. I can guarantee you that we will know nothing about before the athletes profiles get published on Rio 2016 website.
  12. 6 athletes is actually a success for them. Malta is the only European microstate that will have more than MKD this time (7).
  13. Oh, I thought that was some alleged IOC rule, and not Macedonia's own rule. And it's a stupid rule btw. They basically say to their athletes with Olympic experience: "No, you can't got because you already did.". This rule could just cause early retirements and overall weaker teams...
  14. How recent is that? And no, there is no such rule.
  15. Kristel Vourna is also not here. They got it after http://kurir.mk/sport/ostanati-sportovi/marko-blazhevski-ke-pliva-vo-rio/
  16. It's 6, as they got a late wild card for men's swimming.
  17. This is outdated, they have 33 according to their NOC. http://olimpiade.lv/lv/jaunumi/zinas/latvijas-olimpisko-komandu-rio-2016-papildina-kanoe-airetajs-dagnis-iljins-1063
  18. So, they have officially been stripped of two boxing quotas after testing positive (men's light welterweight and men's middleweight). Both of those quotas should now go to Congo (4th place from African QT in both weights), hopefully it's not too late to give it to them.
  19. First Summer Olympic Games Opening ceremony that I watched live.
  20. Well, why don't they just invite everyone... How is this fair to Lithuanian badminton player who lost her quota few weeks before Rio (qualification system said that she could lose it). Qualification systems also say that Sablikova and Greek swimmer were not allowed to compete but they got invited nevertheless...
