  1. Maybe Malta, but it is impossible to tell for sure! That building looks quite empty.
  2. Less than 24 hours left before women's football starts.
  3. Well, there's no beating Rory McIlroy. "I don't play to develop golf, I play to win tournaments". "I'm gonna watch Olympics at home, but not golf. I'll watch athletics, swimming, diving... Things that matter".
  4. Come on Rio, you can do better than this.
  5. LIECHTENSTEIN 3 (1+2) SWIMMING 2 (1+1) MEN'S Christoph MEIER (400m Individual Medley) WOMEN'S Julia HASSLER (800m Freestyle) TENNIS 1 (0+1) WOMEN'S Stephanie VOGT (Singles)
  6. PALAU 5 (3+2) ATHLETICS 1 (1+0) MEN'S Rodman TELTULL (100m) CANOEING - SPRINT 1 (0+1) WOMEN'S Marina TORIBIONG (K1 200m, K1 500m) SWIMMING 2 (1+1) MEN'S Shawn WALLACE (50m Freestyle) WOMEN'S Dirngulbai MISECH (50m Freestyle) WRESTLING 1 (1+0) MEN'S Florian SKILANG TEMENGIL (Freestyle -125kg)
  7. Lol, we are now using twitter posts of Australian diver to see which nation is in which building. Detectives at work.
  8. Anett Kontaveit (EST) will replace Cibulkova in singles. I guess Slovakia will be allowed to keep their entry in doubles. Niculescu is the next to withdraw. Will this ever stop?
  9. 3 days to go.... ------------------50--------------------------------------25--------------------------------------02----- --------49-----------------48------------------27-----------------24-------------------04----------------01- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --47----------------------------46-------29-----------------------------22-------06----------------------------03 --------------------------------------36--------------------------------------16------------------------------- --45-----------------------38--43-------30--33-------------------18--21-------08--13------------------------05 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------44-----------40---41------------------28--31-------20--23-------------------10--11-----------07--- ------------------42--------------------------------------26--------------------------------------09------------- ----------------------39-----------------------------32-------19----------------------------12----------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------37-----------------34-------------------17----------------14------------- --------------------------------------35--------------------------------------15---------------
  10. According to this, also got it in middleweight. So, Rio 2016 website is just slow. http://www.lolakayacongo.com/2016/07/jeux-olympiques-rio-2016-boxeurs-congolais-quitteront-brazzaville-1er-aout/
  11. Our sailors are in sailing village near the venue, I guess all of them are there.
  12. Completely agree, it's hard to imagine that athletes from Tuvalu, Maldives or Belize are embarrased by their performances (or that people from those nation's watching the Games feel embarrased). It's far more realistic that they proud to be on the World's biggest stage...
  13. So I guess we should also cut all those group matches in team sports, because it's boring to some people.
  14. Exactly. Though sometimes it's dissapointing that so many of those nations always have only 100m runners. It's nice to see when someone tries something else too (for example Solomon Islands opted for two 5000m runners this time and that's cool ).
  15. There will be only 3 heats in men's 100m.
  16. To be fair, the quota limit was 2005, so "only" some 350 overboard.
  17. 3 days to go... For the memorable eventing performance(s) at the Olympics, I've chosen Mark Todd & Carisma, double Olympic champions.
  18. At the end Luxembourg declined their second women's time trial quota. France and Switzerland were next in line but they both declined too. Finally, quota went to Norway.
  19. It's an Universality quota, every nation is allowed to enter at least one athlete per gender. Egypt had qualified only male athletes so they were allowed to enter one more female athlete. Even if a nation qualifies 50 athletes (all male) they can still enter one female as an Universality athlete.
  20. I used Hola for a long time (for Pan Ams on CBC and Commonwealth Games on BBC among other things). But recently someone told me that Hola is no good, after that I googled it and found loads of articles about it.
  21. Hola is shit. http://adios-hola.org/ http://www.techspot.com/news/60828-popular-free-vpn-service-hola-dodgy.html There is no good free VPN, that's a fact. I have switched to TunnelBear after finding out what Hola does...
  22. Tomorrow we have the last day before Rio without any action. It's gonna be a long one.
