  1. I don't really go to Instagram, but I guess #rio2016 should do the trick.
  2. Rio website confirms that Morocco lost quotas in men's light welterweight and men's middleweight. Dival Malonga got it in men's light welter while the other one hasn't been reallocated apparently (or is simply missing from the website)...
  3. Typical China. Similar to how their race walker got suspended for 1 month after testing positive...
  4. According to Rio website, there will be 2377 athletes in athletics. Talk about going overboard.
  5. Website is quite wrong. For example, they say that Iraq has 22 footballers.
  6. Nope, this isn't complete still as I see some athletes missing. Though, interesting to note that quite a few nations don't have a single female athlete (Iraq, Tuvalu, Monaco, Vanuatu, Nauru).
  7. If only we had an entry list per event option...
  8. Foolish of me not to remember that.
  9. Still no new website. I'm starting to wonder if the Opening ceremony will be held on August 5th, or will it be delayed too.
  10. It's 8:00 in Brazil so I'm optimistically thinking that webmasters are just coming to work.
  11. Hopefully SVK is saving something better for TISC.
  12. Why doesn't Slovakia try "I FEEL sLOVAkia"? Lova is a slang for money in Croatian.
  13. I may be wrong, but I think it's not even worth checking before 17:00 CET.
  14. 4 days to go.... ------------------50--------------------------------------25--------------------------------------02----- --------49-----------------48------------------27-----------------24-------------------04----------------01- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --47----------------------------46-------29-----------------------------22-------06----------------------------03 --------------------------------------36--------------------------------------16------------------------------- --45-----------------------38--43-------30--33-------------------18--21-------08--13------------------------05 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------44-----------40---41------------------28--31-------20--23-------------------10--11-----------07--- ------------------42--------------------------------------26--------------------------------------09------------- ----------------------39-----------------------------32-------19----------------------------12----------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------37-----------------34-------------------17----------------14------------- --------------------------------------35--------------------------------------15---------------
  15. PB 100m - 13.98 200m - 28.24 That's gonna be exciting.
  16. So, unsurprisingly, another American pair replaced Bryan brothers.
  17. 3 Apparently, South Sudan was allowed to nominate 3 universality athletes for athletics (I guess it could be a gift for debut or something). Anyway, South Sudan wasn't in that article about nations with 1 or 2 athletes so I guess they will indeed have 3. https://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2016/07/29/olympic-dream-over-south-sudanese-sprinting-champion
  18. Kazakhstan received the reallocation in men's -73kg, following the withdrawal of Canada. https://www.judobase.org/#/competition/profile/1339/countries/3
  19. Radu Albot received a place for singles, making Moldova's Olympic debut in tennis http://en.publika.md/moldovas-radu-albot-to-compete-at-rio-olympics_2625858.html
  20. Probably thanks to them Dodig won't compete in doubles, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
  21. Let's see if they can make one deadline count.
  22. Rumour has it that new Rio website (including athletes profiles) will go live tomorrow.
