  1. yeah I assumed that, none of them was attacking blindly at the end. I only saw the 2nd attack (both 1pt at the same time) , and I don't know if you can read the scoreboard but I can't with this quality. even with my glasses (which I rarely use)
  2. but you have to admit that was a very nice technique from the Russian. something unorthodox in Karate . but yeah very heartbreaking in last second. did any of them had the senshou ? (I assume not) or it was going to Hantei ? honestly I hope Marino doesn't get a second chance in repechage , and you know why
  3. Abbasali out in the first round that was re-match of 2014 World Champions final and once again she lost to the Egyptian girl. almost the worst possible draw for the first match (only Uekusa could be worse than this)
  4. and that's where I hugely support Italy not that I don't support Italian athletes when they are NOT against Iran, but this time I have more reasons I know the Israeli guy and our fat boy Ganjzadeh are still far away from each other in the bracket but still.
  5. Another 3-2 defeat in Kata both of them should be in medal round with one more judge in favor of them. I hope for better luck in Kumite.
  6. when you face Japan in Kata that's automatically a loss but I think Sadeghi will be back in repechage. where she has to beat France to face Italy for bronze. medal is unlikely but I hope she at least makes it to the medal round. PS: people consider Synchro swimming as the most predictable event at the Olympics, what about Kata ? we already know Kiyuna and Shimizu will win the gold in Tokyo. not just because they are from Japan . also because they will have the host factor there.
  7. but I can see them all, not sure what link you are checking but try this, you have to click on "draw" not the "results" https://www.sportdata.org/wkf/set-online/veranstaltung_info_main.php?active_menu=calendar&vernr=188&ver_info_action=catauslist#a_eventheadend
  8. this is working well. only Kata competition started so far
  9. well. one camera, with no view on the scoreboard. no TV graphics. I think it's fair to say this is almost nothing. btw I just hope they don't take wrestling as an example but IJF is just perfect in this case.
  10. is that possible to switch Tatami ? my first time with Karate TV and I can't see much we had someone in Kata in QF (even though he had a good draw) and he lost only 3-2 to Smorguner we never had a chance for medal in Kata, but losing 3-2 means he had a chance to be in semifinal.
  11. The draw looks good for the Iranians. even though in Karate there is no "easy match" everybody can be dangerous. 2016 was great for Iran in kummitee , this will be great if they can repeat that here. and I see an Iranian Amir Khani participating here as "refugee" another fake refugee living in Belgium. after Asemani and Pouryounes (in Netherlands) both in taekwondo
  12. that last 137kg attempt by Wamalun of Thailand was completely useless. (not even in term of CJ medals) and didn't change anything for her. 1kg more could give her the silver medal in total instead of bronze. and that was too easy for her. she definitely could lift 1kg more. 3 gold and 3 WRs for China. except 45kg where all Standard Records remained (poor level) all other Standard Records had been broken so far for women's events.
  13. well Armenia is not alone in starting the competition with 1kg above the WR and failing miserably 3 times. North Korea just joined them with Kim Hyo-Sim
  14. yeah comparing to Rejepov's 2nd attempt . he got the signal even before lifting it but I think that was OK, M. Ihab could just waited a moment longer
  15. I think they heard me when I said "I was expecting more from China" since then they started to completely dominating the competition. and yeah I think Li Dayin could try for the gold in total. he probably wanted to try for CJ gold medal great job for Mohamed Ihab too. only if he could wait a second more for that down signal. and 4th place for Rejepov ! those 3 medalists better watch out for whatever they are drinking/eating before the doping test
  16. well I don't think that was a "good lift" for Rejepov ! but who I am !? when IWF wants to give medal to someone
  17. how come you are supervising them and watching this at the same time ? nobody cheats during exams in Netherlands ?
  18. interesting . only 6kg separates the opening CJ attempt of top 9 weightlifters .
  19. Karapetyan withdrew from CJ pity I would like to laugh more after 3 more failed attempts of him.
  20. Very interesting so far. great back to back WRs by Lyu and Ihab. and now there is really a medal chance for Turkmenistan. Rejepov looked actually very good in snatch,
  21. this is funny, it didn't look he really can lift that ! that was too heavy for him. I wonder he even tried that before in training
  22. why Armenians never learn ?
  23. with Ihab, Chinese and Armenian guy. it will be really hard but yeah still alive and he could life more , missed on attempt for a dumb mistake
  24. Rejepov so it was crowd's fault ?!
  25. I wonder if they really awarded that medal to Zielinski or not. (I know he is listed as 3rd, but that doesn't mean he received that medal) if I'm not wrong I think IOC had a policy of not re-allocation medal to athletes with doping history.
