    Peter-Michael Kolbe age 70, 3 times a silver medalist (76, 84 and 88) in single sculls. He also won 5 world titles between 1975 and 1986.

    For even years, instead of a WC, why not bring back the Intercalated Games or the Goodwill Games at the least? Well, the standing jumps, Greek stlyle discus throw and freestyle javelin came and went and the sport has managed to stay relevant. So I guess eliminating a few less popular events now won't matter.

    I think those three are already approved to be on the core LA 2028 program, before we even begin to talk about what added sports there might be.

    43 Gold Medals seems way too optimistic to me, especially with what I’m seeing this week in swimming and water polo. I have not seen the event by event predictions, but when aquatics produces around 1/3 of your gold medals almost every recent Games, I see a big drop in golds next year.

    I don't usually watch morning swim prelims, especially in the distances, but I'm getting ready to watch these two 800 heats.

    I think that's a good idea. It has been suggested on other forums that there should be 3 additional medal ceremonies at Paris 2024: 2022 Team Figure Skating and 2012 M HJ and W 400H.
