    The Olympics Qualifying Times OQT are just the 14th time of heats of previous Olympics in the particular event. (They use 14th place of previous for Tokyo too). But Olympic Consideration Time OCT is just OQT + 0,5% which is insane. In case of Tokyo OCT was OQT + 3,0%.

    It depends. Looked at german media it was: one-two-three about Ukraine than Covid articles. Than Bundesliga. But yeah, omikron is far less dangerous than thought. The numbers are higher than any time, but because it is less dangerous noone cares any more. In Germany most of people who wanted to get vacaccine, got one. And covid test is now just a part of daily-weekly routine.

    I think that IOC used bribes to secure that China will stage the Games. :D After disaster as all other/ european cities withdraw, IOC was happy to have someone, who is willing to do it and have money... and don't have to ask its people.

Knowing how authoritarian Polish Federations are, I do not want to know any details of it. 9th place so close to TOP8, but probably no extra money for them.

    Long time it was RUS and BLR running togehter on the lead. *scary* Very intense race. Christinansen MVP - QFM and Nawrath tried to play some tactic games, but he stays cool (even in warm socks!). And Latypov is weastern spy, i think. :D

    Yeah, I heard gossip about Barcelona, but never heard it was something really going to happen. had some WC in alpine skiing, I think..? Freestyle and snowboard probably no problems, but what about ski jumping hills, XC tracks, biathlon range and bobsleigh track? Any near. And none in planning, I think. But this damn politics. Having Olympics in French Alps six years after Paris is still better than Salt Lake City two years after Los Angeles.
