Menzies Campbell died on Friday aged 84 As a sprinter he competed at the 1964 Olympics where he ran in the final of the 4 x 100 relay. He set a British record for the 100m in 1967 in a race where he beat OJ Simpson. He later became a politician and was leader of the Liberal Democratic Party from 2006.

Annabele Fasuba is a brilliant young teenage sprinter. Her father Olusoji Fasuba is a former Nigerian sprinter who was the African 100m record holder who then joined the British Royal Navy so Annabelle was born in Plymouth in Devon -
