I’ve been trying to stay optimistic but this is sad. Dandijnou had so much pressure on him this games. I really thought short track was going to be the key this year.

In 2022 despite only winning 4 golds Canada balanced it out by a number of surprise medals but we don't have that to buoy our hopes this time.

If it can happen anywhere it can happen in short track.

I would add Homan's performance as well. And TBH the silver's sting but they are still athletes that did great in their events today. And if you need anything else there has been no 4th place finishes for Canadians at this Olympics....

Luge seems like its in a rebuilding period - which hopefully will pay off further down the line. We kinda had the same few athletes competing year over year for a few cycles and when they all retired we were back to nothing. I feel like they are doing the smart thing by building the program and pipeline is smart for the future.
