    Another great female poster leli is inactive for quite a while now. She used to wish everyone a happy birthday and post lots of fun pics. We miss her. By the way, there are no new members these days. Can't think of any active member who joined in the last year, maybe longer

    In Ireland and UK it's the same as in North America . The only time I was asked to remove my shoes was when my brother had a new carpet in his new home and he wanted it kept well.... 4 children later and this carefulness soon evaporated I like to kick my shoes off at home because I like to give my poor feet some freedom but there isn't a rule

    Very important news in the world of global politics this evening Ireland has a new Taoiseach (Prime Minister). Well I may have lied about the important part . Leo Varadkar will become Ireland's youngest ever Prime Minister at 38 years old. He is half-Indian, and is openly gay... both of which are important firsts for the leader of the country.
