    What is funny that only top badminton athletes here who don't go to college, let alone pretend to. Other Indonesian athletes either really go to legit college or perhaps just "registered". Back then even top badminton athlete barely have a high school education, causing those who are unfortunate to have their career ended prematurely became poor. It is only recently compulsory for athletes to complete their high school education. Liliyana Natsir the Rio 2016 medalist only had a primary education.

    Regardless whether it is in the programme or not, the problem is the Indonesian badminton athletes sent to Universiade are lower-tier players. Our elite players mostly don't go to college, unlike other countries such as Korea or Chinese Taipei.
