  1. Schlierenzauer and Hayboeck, Ammann, Kornilov and Vassiliev, Kot, Takeuchi didn't advance to the competition
  2. Your're right. Why was I thinking that he won?
  3. To be fair I also am super happy that leg is only 5k, otherwise French probably would be ahead of Poland I didn't see individual times but I pressume that Pazout was weakest in his team. Vyrtval and Danek run well, Portyk very good. Instead in Poland only Cieslar and Slowiok are good runners, Marusarz did well as for his skills, but Kupczak had very weak leg. In 6k (or more) legs Chechs still should be ahead of us.
  4. In doubles it is also win of yesterday winners: Steu and Koller. But in singles, well it's not suprise after his performance of second run of classic competition: Kindl. So Igls is again not a friendly place for which ended with "only" two victories. The best are hosts with three wins and one victory for
  5. Yes, it happened! Best World Cup performance in team event ever! And even without DQ of jumpers from Norway, Austria and Russia it still would be six place.
  6. Terrible mistake of Huefner and she finishes last in sprint. Geisenberger wins again.
  7. I think there is no athlete in world who knows Igls track better than Kindl. First WCh 2017 now this. Amazing.
  8. There was also 9th place in team sprint three years ago in Lahti. I'm wondering is it possible to repeat result from WCh in Seefeld 1985 (6th place). It would be amazing.
  9. It's a chance for best performance of Polish team ever, I believe.
  10. Jeszcze listopad, a my już mamy pięć podiów w zimowych zawodach PŚ, w tym trzy zwycięstwa. Miejsc w "10" to już mi się liczyć nie chce. Dobry start sezonu, naprawdę dobry.
  11. She surely deserve that and I think that in Whistler she'll start in WC. From Italians only Voetter won't have to start in NC (if she'll have good start tomorrow in sprint) so if Hofer will be the best from them she should get to the competition. About Robetscher, it wasn't easy to have worst time than she (but both Polish girls made it )
  12. That would be really amazing performance. She was 7th in Nations Cup, the winner of NC Platzer was 10th in WC, Zirne, who had almost the same time as Hofer yesterday, today was 18th
  13. Yes, yes, underestimate Poland and you will end like Portugal Just kidding, I know that every point will be succes for our team
  14. Unfortunately couldn't watch today. What happened with Wendl/Arlt and Sics/Sics in first run? Why so poor times?
  15. Right, Russia should lose to make heywoodu scenario. My fault.
  16. Netherlands won, Finland lost, Russia is leading against Italy 10:6 after 9 ends, so scenario from yesterday is very possible (almost sure). In that case Russia will finish at 7th place, Finland at 8th and Netherlands at 9th. We still don't know who will be fourth semifinalist, Norway or Germany (Switzerland has no chance because of DSC). EDIT: It's Germany!
  17. Not in WC, but I believe that Jongkind and Schram still compete. There are both less than 30 yo so it's not time for retiring. Or maybe I was a little to hasty?
  18. Probably not. European team won gold medal last time in Barcelona (by winning with Poland in final, damn it!). From that time only two European teams play in final: Spain in Sydney and Germany in Rio. Do you know when last time there was two European teams in semifinals? Yes, you're right, in Barcelona After this: Atlanta - Portugal was 4th, Sydney - Spain with silver, Athens - Italy with bronze, Bejing - Belgium 4th, London - none European team in semis, Rio - Germany with silver. I think favorites should be from Americas, from 1996 there are always two teams from one or both Americas in semis and they won four last olympic tournaments (Argentina 2004 and 2008, Mexico 2012, Brazil 2016).
  19. Oh my, that's really big cut! And they will do this in pre-olympic year...
  20. Ehm... yup: http://www.fil-luge.org/en/athletes/dania-obratov http://www.fil-luge.org/en/athletes/daria-obratov There is another quite important matter. You have ladies, you have some single riders in men's competition, when will you set a double and take part in relays?
  21. Than DSC (Draw Shot Challange) will decide, I believe. Right now Russia is the best in this statistic from this three teams, Finland is right behind it and Netherlands has bigger loss. But there still one match left for all of them so it can change. Here is DSC classification: http://ecc2018.worldcurling.org/data/CUR_ECCA2018P/Men's_Teams/00~Session_0/C76D~Draw_Shot_Challenge.pdf It's also possible that best of this three teams will get 7th place and another two had to play tiebreaker.
  22. It wouldn't because commentator would die in half of second end.
  23. If there will be not enough teams from one league, than next best ranked team in overall ranking will play with them (so basically best team from league bellow). There is only one restriction. Group winners can't play with teams from a higher league.
  24. Yes it's possible but it depends how many teams from League C will advance through groups. For now from League C only group winners (Finland, Norway, Scotland, Serbia) have guarantees to play in play-offs. But if one of them will advance by taking first or second place in Euro qualifications group than the best team from League C's second places will play. Best team from seconds is Bulgaria, second is Israel, so two group winners or one group winner and Bulgaria must advance through groups to Israel could compete in play-offs.
