Forget I said anything about men. But in women's competition Meyers won with great style. I was expecting that she'll win on her own track but not with such advantage. Maybe it's because of not so good performance of Jamanka? Heinrich 2nd! What a result! When was the last time when French was in top 3? And this second run of Lochner, what a poor start. I hoped that finally somebody will win with Friedrich in two-men.

@Olympian1010 Great 1st run of Bascue, also pretty good of Olsen. At least they can compete on they own track. Unfortunately Meyers is 2nd in women's competition. There'll be very interesting 2nd runs.

Didn't she start already for USA at last WC?

I'm not sure about that. It's true that Voetter lost most of all to her equivalent in German team but who expected that she will win with Geisenberger? I think that Fischnaller is the one who could go faster, but he is very unpredictable so his result is not suprise. Before start I thought that Italy will fight for 5th place with Canada and USA so I think is a good result for this team.

Maybe they get some cash for better equipment? In Czech or France is possible, I think. For example Luty is doing much better in twos because he has better sleds. In fours he is riding some old metal thing that could be longer in this sport than him. That and the thing that he has only one good pusher (Tylkowski) so start times in twos are pretty good, but in fours are terrible.

You can try and probably you'll succed considering that Polish federation is very poor But if you want someone from Poland maybe you should consider Dawid Kupczyk who is now coach of Czech team (did you see what Dvorak is doing this season?).

Well, that won't last forever. Wait when preparations for next OG will start. But I think that you need new drivers. Bascue is still junior, but somehow he didn't convince me to give him chance in next season. Maybe Geoffrey Gadbois and/or Hunter Church? But still I'm really interested how Americans will start in their own track in Lake Placid.

Don't be so harsh, that's only situation in men. In women Meyers is doing quite well.

I ment her yesterday start times. She lost to Nikitina (best starter) 0.6s on both starts together and she still won with her with a difference of 0.43s. Whatever you'll say, it's huuuge!

Did I say that Austrians are winning only in Innsbruck?

Nobody wrote that so I will. Janine Flock showed today how imprtant is knowing the track. Two terrible starts (compare to athletes like Hermann, Nikitina or Loelling) and she still was the best. Austrians are making incredible things on their own truck in Innsbruck. I still have in mind two gold medals of Kindl at 2017 Luge WCh. And one curiosity. Today Marta Orlowska made her first start in World Cup. She started at WCh before, but never in WC. She was 21st (don't know why there is no sign of her in results at IBSF web, but she figures in results from ECh*). She's second athlete from Poland that compete in skeleton WC. First was Monika Wolowiec more than 10 years ago. * - Ok, now I know why. She has no right to start in WC, so she was competing only in ECh. Damn, I was so happy...

That would be hard or maybe I should write expensive (for Polish conditions). Canal+ and Polsat are two different sat TV's, so if you want have programs of competition (for example you have sat from Polsat, but want also C+) you must pay extra. For six Polsat channels with Champions League you must also pay extra. Eleven is always separate package - you must pay extra. Even for Eurosport and Sportklub you must buy sport package because it's never in standard. Etc,etc, etc

Theoretically it is possible to advance with 4 points. For example: 1 - 10p (5-0-0) 2 - 8p (4-0-1) 3 - 4p (2-0-3) 4 - 4p (2-0-3) 5 - 2p (1-0-4) 6 - 2p (1-0-4) Even 3 points if four teams would have them. But still win against Argentina won't ensure Angola's advance.
