Before I continue, I just want to say that this may not actually be complete accurate. You might notice that there's only 33 quotas assigned in the women's 1500m. That's because after the initial assignment of quotas, there were 115 quotas which is 3 over the limit. According to the qualification system, the 1500m distances are the last events to assign quotas since they have a max quota of 36 instead of 32. For the men's event, France, Hungary, and Ukraine have the last spots and removing them wouldn't affect the quota totals. Therefore unfortunately, I had to remove one quota from Croatia, Hong Kong and Poland to get the total to 112. We'll see what the NOC does about all this. If anyone actually knows the correct procedures, please comment below.

it's always all on eurosport channels and the hbo max/ max/discovery+/tnt platform (whatever it's called in the various Countries)

They're not shown anywhere. Even in the Netherlands we only sometimes get a small glimpse of it when NOS has a camera there to record a specific athlete (like a Dutch rider or in the rare occassion of a top level rider doing the B division for whatever reason). Even then it's not live, but just a short glimpse they'll show in the broadcast around the A divisions.

some mysterious accident happened to him in Qatar where he was playing professionally (apparently being electrocuted while entering a hotel pool) resulting in a heart attack. he was comatose for couple of weeks, still nobody really knows what happened to him in Qatar and the Qatari police doesn't try to help.
 
this somehow becomes a national tragedy. his health condition was on top of the news this whole time. he was a nice kid, such a sad story

The women are right on the maximum quota limit of 56 but the men are still two over at 58. Unfortunately, we've lost Germany, Taiwan, and Thailand from the first Stage but Uzbekistan is now in position to get a quota. Here's a summary of all the quota changes below:
 
Men's 500m: Great Britain, France, and Uzbekistan all moved their first quotas into qualifying position. The 2nd Korean quota, 2nd Belgium quota and first Hong Kong quota all fell out of qualifing position.
 
Men's 1000m: A big week for the US skaters saw their 2nd and 3rd quotas move up into qualifying position. This came at the expense of Hungary losing their 3rd quota and Turkiye losing their only quota.
 
Men's 1500m: Once again, a big week for the US saw their 3rd quota move up into qualifying position. Turkiye and Ukraine also moved into position to qualify one quota. Latvia lost their 2nd quota and Germany and Taiwan lost their only quotas.
 
Men's 5000m Relay: USA moved into qualifying position, Kazakhstan got bumped out.
 
Women's 500m: France is now in position to qualify an athlete. Korea's 3rd quota also moved up into qualifying position. Meanwhile the 2nd Hungarian quota and the only Czech quota are now on the outside looking in.
 
Women's 1000m: Only one change. The Neutral athlete moved up into qualifying position. Not a good week for Czechia as they lose a quota in yet another discipline.
 
Women's 1500m: Lot of changes here. Canada's 3rd quota, China's 3rd quota, and Hong Kong moved into qualifying positions. Meanwhile, Thailand, the first Ukrainian quota and the 3rd Polish quota fell out of qualifying position.
 
Women's 3000m Relay: USA and Japan moved into the top 8, Hungary and France fell out of the top 8.

So this is how qualification works:
If you qualify a relay for one gender + 8 or 9 individual quotas for that gender, you get 5 quotas for that gender If you qualify a relay for one gender + 7 individual quotas or less, you get 4 quotas Otherwise, the number of quotas for that gender is the maximum amount of entries you have in one single event  
So for the US, they've have 2, 1, and 2 men in qualifying position in the individual events but no relay so the maximum amount of quotas the men get is 2. The same thing can be said for Poland except they have 3 men in the 500m in qualifying position so their maximum amount of quotas is 3. Italy and China both have their men's relay teams in qualifying position and have the maximum 9 individual quotas so they get 5 quotas. Japan has their men's relay team in qualifying position but only has 7 individual quotas so they only get 4 quotas

The total of 60 men and 55 women puts us at 115 athletes which is three over the maximum quota limit. However, I would expect this number to go down by next weekend as skaters start to experience regression to the mean and skaters who put up an outlier performance fall out of qualification position. Lot's of surprising countries in qualifying position here It'll be interesting to see how long countries like Hong Kong, Slovakia, Taiwan and Thailand can hang on. No, I'm sure they'll finish up the comp because ranking points are also important for other events, but it means that the other teams now have only 3 places to play for.  

Well, I'd be happy if we can see there the provisional results, a.k.a. ranking those who are already out of the competition. That would help a lot with our counting. 

It was dead at one point last year but then got revived when the season started. Hopefully it's the same this year.
