    Quick question: If for some reason a spot becomes available in the men's c1 1000 (for ex. Brazil uses only 2 athlete quotas across the 3 it has), does that mean the spot is reallocated to the 9th place boat in the men's c1 1000 (Mark Oldershaw - CAN). If so what happens to the continental quota he earned? Would it be reallocated to Canada regardless? I ask because if Oldershaw got the quota from the worlds, he would not have competed at the continental qualifiers, meaning Canada would have won a quota in the c1 200m. What a mess!

    To add more confusion... Athletics quotas are not considered as wildcards by the ioc (along with swimming)

    Looks like Somalia has lost its wildcard in taekwondo The WTF has confirmed the 4 who got wildcards, and David Boui replaces Somalia.

    Sri Lanka is justified... ---- I don't think those wildcards are real. All qualification documents say wildcards are decided after all qualification is ended.
