    Its because Canada declined the K1 quota for women (Canada had to pick 2 of 3)

    I think Mary Kom is the favourite for the only tripartie invitation spot for Rio... in London every country which got wildcards were not eligible for them. So hold out hope. Kom has a very good resume to be awarded a quota

    Such a stupid rule if you ask me. You can only qualify one boat across each boat type (K1, C1, C2, K2)... And even then for canoeing you can qualify only 2 quotas maximum...
