  1. Wow so two teams lost with 0 points today, last time any team had 0 points was over 20 years ago, yet alone 2 on the same day
  2. Thank you! I found it odd she was entered in the 100 anyways since it came out last year it was not good on her body.
  3. Penny OLeksiak was leading through her heat at the 50 in the 100m butterfly but then just stopped and got out of the pool. I have seen nothing like this before. I wonder what happened.
  4. There is no real point in going even faster this early in the season. I'm sure she will win the 400 I'm but at a time that is more than her pb. As long as she qualifies for the World's.
  5. Meaghan Benfito retired

  8. Summer Mcintosh 4:01.59 in the 400 free, another NR
  9. Finlay Knox smashed the NR in the 200im!!
  10. no lol, knowing the IOC they will have some insane system where its possible.
  11. I highly doubt it... usually most systems say X can only earn one quota for their country
  12. I have seen it, for canoe slalom, a country can only enter one boat per gender maximum (kidding ofc..)
  13. But we get break dancing!! So excited for that!! /s
  14. Laurence Vincent Lapointe retires...
  15. Canoe sprint: 11x World Champion, 1x Pan American Games champion and 2 time Olympic medalist Laurence Vincent Lapointe retires...
  16. Yea no new sport is being added. There is too much planning and jobs they would need to hire in a short time frame.
  17. Boxing per this: https://www.independent.ie/sport/other-sports/boxing/boost-for-future-of-olympic-boxing-as-ioc-accepts-overhaul-of-qualifying-system-41516035.html The top eight ranked boxers in each of the 13 Olympic weight categories on December 31, 2003 will qualify for Paris. Boxers will earn qualification points in a new Golden Belt series being run under the auspices of the IBA in 2023. The number of Golden Belt tournaments which will be run next year, and the number of qualification points awarded at each tournament, has not been published. The situation is further complicated because the IBA suggests that boxers from two different weight categories can earn qualification points for one of the Olympic weight categories. So, a 54kg boxer could qualify for the 57kg Olympic weight category. Following the initial allocation of Olympic places there would be a second allocation on March 31, 2024 which would again be based on the ranking system. However, the then highest ranked boxer – not previously qualified - from each continent (Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania, and Pan America) would be guaranteed a place The two final spots in each category would be decided at a World Qualification tournament which would be held before May 2024. The two finalists in each category would be allocated an Olympic place. Some spots are missing, I am assuming host quota and wild cards.
  18. Canadian Swim Trials are from Tuesday.
  19. Any idea of weightlifting or boxing are at risk?
  20. I knew you'd be excited for the last weekend!
  21. I hope so...but Canada has no experience against other confederations. An upset will likely lead to Germany or Spain anyways.
  22. See you in 2026!
  23. @MHSNneeds to buy a lottery ticket !
  24. Yea...the article is obvious though lll
