Day 3- A day of near misses in shooting & usual heartbreak in Archery but Manika’s win ends the day on a positive note. We are still active in 14 sports. We started our campaign with 110 athletes in 16 sports ( without alternates) 4 more athletes ended their Olympics campaign today ( 4 Shooting ) We still have 99 active athletes & have 1 🥉 in our Kitty. As of Day 2 we are 26th in the overall Medal table .

Wow, that was some match. Even in shoot out they were equal. That was so close. Thoroughly enjoyed it as a neutral.

V Big match for us, this might decide where we finish in the group. I expect a very tight match.

Arjun Babuta finished 4th in 10m AR(M) This 4th place hurts a lot more so for countries like us who don’t win many medals & have limited chances to medal in Olympics

Arjun did well in a high quality field , sad that we couldn’t convert 2 finals into medals today. So difficult for us to get olympic medals. Olympics is just a different level

Manu & Sarabjot Finished in 3rd in 10m AP Mixed team qualification. We will fight for 🥉 tomorrow against Korea.

Ramita Jindal finished 7th in 10m AR (W) Final. No medal from us. End of the campaign for Ramita.

Good day for us in terms of shooting & winning a medal but overall I would say we had a mixed day. We have lost 2 sports after Day 2 i.e Swimming & Tennis We are still active in 14 sports. We started our campaign with 110 athletes in 16 sports ( without alternates) We have lost 7 athletes today ( 2 Swimming , 2 Shooting & 3 Tennis) We still have 103 active athletes & have 1 🥉 in our Kitty. As of Day 2 we are 22nd on the overall Medal table .

Bopanna/Balaji Lost in 1st Round to the French pair 5-7, 2-6 With this our representation in Tennis ends

They must come out with an apology in public for that performance. That was shameful performance.
