    @Ogreman You might want to revisit er predictions again. We are at the QF stage now with medals & quotas just 1/2 fights away. Plenty of upsets , shocks & surprising results while some fights went as per expectations some were debatable decisions. What do you make of it so far?

    Big win in boxing by Parveen defeating the Chinese boxer at home. She has a tough draw but now she is just one match away from qualification & medal.

    What a poor display by Thapa, he had such an easy path to final & a quota place. What is more concerning is that our coaches believe he is the best boxer in that weight class.

    has just won their first medal of the games . A 🥉 in Judo & are guaranteed a medal in Judo , which will be their first in AG 2023. With that 22 NOC has so far won a medal that is nearly 50% of total participating NOC . We are just in Day 2.

    I’m disappointed. They had a long camp, Dennerby was appointed & had a month’s camp with the team. Their draw was not bad & Thailand certainly were not better than us. Going out in group losing both matches & scoring just once is not really a good performance. They needed to convince the sports ministry & am not sure they did that. Won’t be surprised if ministry decides against sending the team for 2026 games.
