I don’t think that will be fair & anyway once you go down that route, it will be just not Palestine or Israel . You would need to consider Azerbaijan/ Armenia . Lebanon, Kosovo/ Serbia. Pakistan/India/ China/ USA IOC need not get into this political mess rather they should make it clear Olympics is not a place to carry out political protests. You would have thought that Delhi rather New Delhi would have been the obvious choice having already hosted commonwealth games but it is clear that the Central Govt & sports ministry want the games to take place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
