Thanks for the amazing work on the spreadsheet. If my eye's read correctly you expect to get a quota in Sprint (M) canoeing . This will be historic, if time permits could you elaborate a bit please. What are the chances we get to hold on to the quota place ? Is their a risk of missing out? Thanks! I don't follow canoeing much so had a hard time simulating the qualification scenarios. Thanks!

There were lots of good moments , this olympics felt so special (I am talking of WOG). The last time I really enjoyed viewing WOG was in Sochi & this tops it. So many feel good moments, very well attended event with spectators filling up stands & making an atmosphere. So many top performances, but for me the women team dominating the Biathlon event was really special. All 3 of them were just so good & gave top performance. I love it how the female commentator pronounced Lou Jeanmonnot & finally grazie mille we loved it! Thanks for making me fall in love with winter sports again

When do you expect Cricket to announce the qualification pathway. I understand it could be ranking based qualification with perhaps one final qualifying tournament awarding 1 slot. 1 host quota 4 quotas from world rankings but limited to 1 NOC for each continent ( Asia, Africa, Europe & Oceania) Americas will have the host quota The final qualifying tournament will allow other top nations who couldn’t qualify via rankings to fight for that 1 slot. Do you think IOC will approve this format prepared by ICC? Boxing qualification document will take time as the international federation just got acknowledgement from IOC and surely we will see an increase in member state affiliation in the federation . Powerhouse countries like are yet to officially join world boxing . Athletics will possible release their time standards and qualification period later this year as they did for Paris.

Winter Olympics is over & our campaign ended with both our athletes finishing their events & getting a rank. Guess that is bare minimum we would have expected. Anyways , this campaign still doesn't improve our best place finish at a winter olympics event. That was Shiva Keshavan in Turin 2006 with a 25th Place finish in Luge (Men's Singles) Hopefully we can focus for 2030 french alps now & try to integrate our junior Khelo India winter games athletes to qualify for 2030 & achieve better results. Target should be to equal or better our largest contingent size for a WOG (Which was 4 athletes in Turin 2006) Lets Go

What is his justification for that as those 2 sports doesn't require a costly venue, ( even temporary arrangements like using Lords in 2012 can be done) most developed nations already have shooting & archery programmes. Also it is who dominates shooting programmes in olympics ( Those 2 major power won't let it slide easily) dominates Archery. don't need to throw tantrums in sports we are not going to dominate & has never medalled in Archery. With the end of group stage we lost 12 teams out of 20, with the top 2 in each of the 4 groups making it to the next round (super 8s) has been the story of the group stages winning against both & in group stages. Among the associate members, made a memorable debut in the world cup. Interesting but considering the increase in number of events it is not surprising perhaps. Can you provide a list of countries which regressed/ performed poorly both in terms of medals & golds won than last Olympics. I can think of & on top of my head. Maybe With , whose chef de mission in an media interaction yesterday accepted the downgrade in results for both summer & winter games & accepts that DOSB needs to do more & make tough decisions.

are currently sitting 3rd in the medal table & ALL of their medals have come from speed skating (short track included). Imagine this , getting 20 medals in just 1 sport ( 2 disciplines ) which has 23 medal events! That is utter dominance in any level of sports & to do that at olympic level regularly year after year is amazing. But it begs the question you can be in top 3 on the table by just focussing in one sports programme! I don't think this level of dominance & its reflection in the medal table is possible in the summer games. Perhaps WOG needs more competition & more countries to develop their programme to make it a truly global event! I honestly don't know if I should celebrate this achievement or be sad that there is no competition for them.

Unpredictable did happen with the silver medal & makes entry to the medal table. This equals 30 NOC/Countries (highest ever) on the medal table. (Counting AIN medal ofcourse)

The French are just very fast skiers , even if they miss 1 or 2 in the range , you know they can make it up in the course . Congratulations Very good Biathlon female team. Delighted for , surprise bronze medal.
