I thought Kroos was brilliant today, he controlled the game & the front three of Havertz , Musiala & Wirtz were so fluid that it was hard for Scotland to defend deep. Will have tougher matches ahead but they certainly have a team that can go deep in the tournament.

Yes with both & qualifying as expected. will be the highest ranked women’s team without a quota in the ranking list. We have a very good chance now .

Grabs a team quota by qualifying for SF in Women’s Team event.

-> 8-10 medals & possibly 1-2 Golds . This is a very optimistic prediction, for us to reach that number a lot has to go right especially in precision sports like Shooting & Archery where anything can happen on a given day. Other sports which might contribute includes Badminton, Athletics, Boxing & Wrestling . Hockey & weightlifting too. It could all go wrong like Rio & we might end up with 2-4 medals & 0 golds. Hoping for a successful Olympics

With the General elections done, no single party got majority. Incumbent PM Narendra Modi’s party emerged as the single largest party with 240 MPs well short of the 272 majority mark. The result for this general election is very promising for our country, as now we will have a strong opposition to push the government & also we will maintain some stability with Modi take charge for his 3rd consecutive term & pushing through important reforms & foreign policies.

Amit Panghal qualifies in 51 Kg at the world boxing qualifiers 2. This is our 5th Boxing quota. Amit will be going to his 2nd olympics. With this quota our athletes contingent size moves up to 86 in 12 sports

Yaaaa We have our 2nd Men’s quota in Boxing. Amit Panghal will be going to his 2nd olympics. He deserves this. With this quota we have a total of 5 boxers qualified for Paris. We have 2 more in the finals today. Hopefully we can make it 7!

With Nishant Dev qualifying in 71kg , we have our first men’s quota in boxing & a much deserving one. Along with the 3 girls who qualified earlier this is our 4th boxing quota. Hopefully we can add to that with both Amit Panghal & Sachin Siwach qualifying for their respective quota bouts.
