  1. We all are sad & devastated. I even planned my leave specifically for Olympics . In Rio I had the worst feeling & after Tokyo thought those dark days are gone. Even if we have bad olympics it would still be at Tokyo’s level & not Rio. After everything in Paris I still hold hope & maybe we will be closer to Tokyo but Yes, this Olympics have been filled with disappointment. I hope a proper post analysis is carried out & people are made accountable. We can’t keep spending crores of rupees & end up with no improvements. 4 years is a long time & with correct planning & proper people in charge we can definitely turn it around. What Prakash sir said is absolutely correct , players support staffs coaches everyone needs to be accountable. In successful nations if you don’t perform your funding is withdrawn. You have to stop rewarding failure & mediocrity & it starts with media. They need to stop hyping up athletes. Oh! & Finally we need to stop this hosting crap. We are simply not ready be it financially or sporting wise to even come in a conversation of hosting Olympics. The politicians just like another excuse to scam money in the name of hosting an event like in Commonwealth. We need people like Parth Jindal more involved who are passionate about sports unlike a certain lady for whom everything is a PR event!
  2. Really happy for Miroslaw , she deserves it , have been the best here in Paris. To perform under such pressure/ expectations & still win makes her a worth Olympic champion.
  3. Antim is out . As the turkish wrestler she lost to has lost against the German in QF. End of the road for Antim in less than a minute. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but maybe we should have had that trial in 53kg between Antim v Vinesh . 53kg is normal weight class for Vinesh & Antim was out injured for long time . It is what is though.
  4. Antim lost 10-0 against the turkish wrestler What a fucked up day
  5. Someone needs yo be held accountable. This is not how professional team work. This is absurd that a medical team cannot work on weight reduction. They should have worked on her rehydration to keep it from exceeding 2.7 kgs if that was the case. Gross negligence & people in charge needs to hold accountable.
  6. Day 11 - Day of redemption & champions . What a near perfect day we had , if only the Hockey result was in our favour it would have been a perfect day. Vinesh will get the headlines for causing the biggest shock of our Olympic campaign & she now stands one bout away from her dream . Neeraj showed again why he is a champion but it will be hotly contested final. Hope our men can recover & get that bronze in hockey. We need to continue our medal run in hockey. We are still active in 6 sports 4 more athletes ended their Olympics campaign today ( 3 Table Tennis & 1 Athletics) We still have 46 active athletes & have 3🥉 in our Kitty. As of Day 11 we are 63rd in the overall Medal table . Medalists : Shooting : 3 Manu Bhaker (10m AP women) - 🥉 10m AP Mixed Team ( Manu & Sarabjot) - 🥉 Swapnil Kusale (50m 3P AR Men) - 🥉
  7. Day 12 Schedule ( 07/08/24) Total Events : 11 ( 4 Medal Events) Total Sports : 5 Athletics : Javelin Throw (W) : Qualification Annu Rani at 2:00 pm
  8. We made too many mistakes today, don’t know if players were nervous. We were giving away to many unnecessary fouls . Were always going to be tough but I thought we didn’t play our best game today. Hopefully we play better against If not better we need to match Tokyo result to keep the momentum in Hockey
  9. gave it their all but unfortunately were able to covert their chances & we couldn’t . 2-3
  10. Of course he did Skipped my mind in excitement First women in Final
  11. Vinesh I am so happy for her. She deserves it. It was her destiny & to do it the way she has done it taking out the best wrestler in her weight class tops it Another wrestling Final & first in women's FS First in women’s . We have a medal finally & it won’t be Bronze
  12. Vinesh Phogat wins her SF aganist Guzman 5-0 She becomes first Indian women wrestler to qualify for an Olympic final After what she has been through this feels like a fairy tale She deserves it, now for the Final tomorrow
  13. Vinesh had a tough bout aganist Oksana Livach ,Susaki bout took a lot out of her & she was struggling physically in the last 1 min of the bout but her experience & determination saw her through. She will face Guzman Lopez of in SF.
  14. Good win bu Vinesh Over Oksana Livach The Susaki bout took a lot out of her physically & the Ukranian girl was really aggressive. Vinesh had nothing left in the tank for last 1 min but held on to win 7-5, having a superior first half of the bout. Now she can get some much needed rest before her SF starts.
  15. Great throw , what a final we have in store. 89.34 SB to start his title defence
  16. 89.34 That is what the defending Olympic champion threw. Neeraj Chopra will defend his Olympic title
  17. What just happened Vinesh took down Susaki Biggest shock of this Olympics What a statement made by her with this win
  18. Vinesh Phogat just caused the biggest shock of this Olympics She took down Susaki Let alone losing , she doesn’t even give points away, this is massive result for Indian Wrestling Vinesh 3-2 Susaki
  19. Day 11 Schedule ( 06/08/24) Total Events : 5 (0 Medal Events) Total Sports : 4
  20. Day 10- What a horrible day! A day where we could have won 2 more medals ended with none & brutal injury to Nisha who was winning 8-3 with 30 secs left This olympics although not as bad as Rio but the frustration, disappointment, sadness & anger is reaching similar levels. Today I switched off & went for a walk to clear my mind after Nisha’s injury, I was morally so down! We are only active in 6 sports now ( Shooting , Badminton & Sailing campaign ends, only Shooting can be termed a success delivering our only medals so far) 6 more athletes ended their Olympics campaign today ( 2 Shooting , 2 Sailing , 1 Badminton & 1 Wrestling ) We still have 50 active athletes & have 3🥉 in our Kitty. As of Day 10 we are 60th in the overall Medal table . Medalists : Manu Bhaker (10m AP women) - 🥉 10m AP Mixed Team ( Manu & Sarabjot) - 🥉 Swapnil Kusale (50m 3P AR Men) - 🥉

Also we made 7/15 Finals a near 50% success rate. Getting medals in 3/6 finals so far. Excellent show by our shooting team in Paris . Massive credit to our federation. GOLD Medal Match : V Bronze medal Match : V
