Probably the most disappointing missed quota this cycle was with the women's basketball team but perhaps already indications British Basketball are beginning to turn their attention to LA '28. It looks like they are finally putting together a 3x3 program. Martin Dyan has been announced as the new 3x3 programme manager with GB entering the 2024 FIBA Europe Cup and the 2024 U23 Nations League for both men and women. In July, GB women will be competing against Germany and GB men will be against South Sudan in London as part of an event that will also see the US squad competing in the city as part of their Olympic preparation.

Archery European Continental Qualifier: Conor Hall scores 659 to finish qualifying in 7th place. Alex Wise ended up in 8th place with a score of 657. After a bit of a dodgy start, Tom Hall had a better second half, scoring 645 for 21st place (at one point he was down in 44th so this is a pretty good recovery) Alex Wise and Conor Hall are advanced directly to the round of 16. Tom Hall will enter the competition in the round of 24.

I don't think it would be so easy for him to move out on the back straight For the first 10-15 metres, he was boxed in by the Dutch and the Kenyan with the Qatari in front. His only path to the outside would have been to get between the Qatari and the Dutchman and he wouldn't have been able to do that without impeding on or other of them until they were in the last 10-20 metres of the race. But as you say, all that really mattered was getting in to the top two.

That was a bit 'meh' from the guys - Davey was very lucky that the gap opened up on the inside. Seeing quite a few of our guys getting into messy positions on the track and having to fight their way out.

not exactly having a stellar meet so far with only 1 relay qualified. I know they don't necessarily have their strongest squads here, but they seem to be well off the pace so far.

Good news is that 4x400 safely qualifies. The bad news is that Nielsen wasn't able to get ahead of Mawdsley in the final leg despite the fact that the Irish woman had competed in the mixed relay a couple of hours ago.

I think the 1 change limit only applies to the mixed 4x400. So I think because both Bol and Klaver are listed in the Netherlands 4x400 squad so they could be switched in to the women's 4x400, but I think 1 of them would also have to run in the mixed 4x400.
