Kristopher Horn competed as 1 Man Bob since all three other guys failed to get in at the start 

His move to get on the brakes in the outrun is probably one of the most impressive things I've seen in the sport. Getting an underweight sled down in one piece without crashing is no easy feat. Incredible drive from him.
 
The way the other nations greet him and applaud his effort is a great moment too.

But, the Canadian women have only lost gold once in the last 6 Olympics, and it was in a shoot-out. 
 
You know, the one gold medal game I got to attend. 
 
And then I got to watch Koe lose in the semis to Americans later in the day. 
 
Fun times. (It actually was an amazing day, spent most of it in Canada House and met athletes and had a great time). 

No because the pairs/ice dance pairs have lost their placements and are unlikely to even medal individually. For the team event without any real threats, its going to be hard to medal.

Without taking anything away from her, it proves how low the level of women's speed is now. Hirscher, five years younger than her, couldn't even climb the podium in the men's event upon his return. 

Big week for Jessica Linton in moguls with two top 10 finishes. That now puts her on the Olympic team and Charlie Fontaine is now out. If that holds, Marion Thenault would be the only Canadian representative in women's aerials.
