  1. Team Einarson does it again! Their fourth consecutive Scotties title with a 10-4 victory over Team Jones (Manitoba) Team Einarson will be competing at the 2023 Women’s Curling World Championships in Sandviken, Sweden from March 18-26. The second team to ever win four-straight, after the legendary Coleen Jones did it from 2001- 2004. Team Einarson PCT- 90% Briane Harris- 97% Shannon Birchard- 89% Val Sweeting- 86% Kerri Einarson- 89% Team Jones PCT- 83% Lauren Lenentine- 97% MacKenzie Zacharias- 88% Karlee Burgess- 79% Jennifer Jones- 69% (Can’t find draw/hit percentages so this’ll have to do. If anyone can help me find a site that shows those results, that would be much appreciated) Jennifer Jones struggled to find her draw weight for most of the game. Jones missed a difficult tap back with her last in the 9th end, and Einarson pounced on the opportunity to score 4. That’s when Team Jones decided to throw in the towel, and call it game. It was a tough loss for Jennifer Jones, one that stopped her from winning what would have been a record-setting seventh Scotties title (2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2015, 2018) passing Colleen Jones (1982, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004) Full Results Here
  2. 2023 Scotties Update Team Einarson for the win! An 8-5 victory over Team McCarville (Northern Ontario) Einarson struggled throughout most of the game (1-6), but made some key shots in the latter ends (7-10) to keep themselves in it. Team McCarville PCT- 78% Sarah Potts- 85% Ashley Sippala- 79% Kendra Lily- 69% Krista McCarville- 79% Team Einarson PCT- 84% Briane Harris- 94% Shannon Birchard- 86% Val Sweeting- 84% Kerri Einarson- 71% Team Einarson is one win away from a fourth consecutive Scotties title! Should they win tonight they’d tie the legendary Team C. Jones as the only team to win four-consecutive Scotties. For that to happen though, they’ll need to beat Team Jones (Manitoba). Jennifer Jones is seeking a historic seventh career Scotties title, passing Coleen Jones for most ever. Full Results Here
