  5. Summer McIntosh with her fifth PB of the week 1:53.91 200 Free at the 2023 Canadian Trials, and is now #5 all-time. (Behind Pellegrini, Titmus, Schmitt, Ledecky). What an incredible meet for McIntosh. Really, really excited to see what she can do at the Worlds/Olympics.
  6. [2] Coco Gauff/Jessica Pegula are the women’s doubles champions at the 2023 Miami Open after defeating Taylor Townsend/Leylah Fernandez 7-6 (6), 6-2 Team title #5 for Gauff/Pegula and their second of the 2023 season (They won Qatar Open in February)
  7. Day 3 of Judo GP Antalya saw Canada win one medal. (Canada sure loves bronze ) Kyle Reyes (-100kg) won Canada’s only medal of the day, defeating Simeon Catherina (NED) 11-0 in the bronze medal contest. Earlier, he suffered a 1-0 quarterfinals loss to Daniel Eich (SUI), but rebounded soon after defeating Anton Savytskiy (UKR) 11-0 in his repechage match. Shady El Nahas (-100kg) finished 7th, after an 11-0 quarterfinals loss to Aaron Fara (AUT), and a 10-0 repechage loss to Nurlykhan Sharkhan (KAZ). Louis Krieber Gagnon (-90kg) lost in the second round 10-0 to Noël van ‘t End (NED). They finished the event with one silver medal, and three bronze medals. Final preparation before World Championships in Doha, Qatar (May 7-14)
