Are you a member of the IOC, by any chance First time I’m hearing that LA is hosting the Winter Olympics in 2038, and that indoor volleyball will be on the programme. Unless, of course, you mean snow volleyball, which isn’t on the Olympic programme either and I assume they’d be quite bad at it

We have a few medal contenders in alpine skiing. Alexander and Crawford are the main two and Grenier and St Germain can surprise on a day, but yeah nothing concrete. Cross country skiing has been looking kind of bleak lately, but we have some youngsters that have been really impressive (Sonjaa Schmidt, Liliane Gagnon, Allison Mackie) just hope they can make that leap to the senior level.

Fair enough. Doesn’t really help that to watch hockey, the streaming isn’t very accessible outside of North America. I love both sports almost equally, but naturally I might be a little bias being Canadian and having played/watched it as a little kid, so I really shouldn’t be the one to argue a case for it but…

Wasn’t planning on watching this till about 2 minutes ago, but go ! Nothing against of course, just would be a bigger storyline seeing the Czechs advance to the medal rounds (it’ll be a big storyline either way)

Belgium are super underrated and a great team, come on. Obviously it’ll be disappointing, and will feel like a missed opportunity, but having watched them here and at the Olympic Qualifiers they deserve a higher ranking.

Agreed, but I also think that the qualification system (for grabbing additional quotas at Worlds) is stupid, and needs to be changed. Fabbri/Ayer did really well, but because our top two ice dance teams didn’t finish high enough they didn’t qualify.
