What a lovely advice. As far as I'm concerned I never stayed so late for a live sport event since 1994 football World Cup. I'm not sure if Rio 2016 opening ceremony counts to this record of mine though.

Narcis Stefan Mihaila improved from 29th at 10 km mark to 20th at half distance, but I think DQs and DNFs contributed also for that.

I wouldn't say that, I think not even in the athletics. Very well would mean top 5 - top 10 in the medals table, I'm not sure about results but I don't think we're there.

I didn't understand how that could happen but i think they didn't cross the rules with that. Unfortunately Japan didn't gain any position since 2nd part of the relay and finished last.

Well, not quite big but there were some medals in the past. Nowadays however situation got worse and there's only hope for the future.
