Martic wins second set and Putintseva seems to be hampered by cramps. She took an extended MTO but I don't see her doing much if she's unable to run in set three.

Pedro Diniz got a panic attack when he read this post
Dare I say his 1996 Argentine GP exit was more spectacular
Even the track marshal tripped in the sand...

Brady beats Kerber 6-1 6-4 and goes into QF. She still hasn't lost a set in four matches.

And even longer ago there was nobody of the 'main' teams on the podium, I assume (since McLaren was definitely still one of the big teams in 2012).
If you count 2009 Brawn GP as a 'main' team (it was a Honda buy-out after all) then you'll have to go back to 1999 season to find such results (of course I'm talking about the legendary European Grand Prix at Nurburgring).

First time since 2012 Hungarian GP there is no Mercedes, Red Bull or Ferrari on the podium.

Sainz won't be fighting for wins next year at Ferrari.
Meanwhile Albon will be sick seeing Gasly win for AlphaTauri.

Since you can change tires under red flag, Stroll got a free pitstop. Watch out for this highly unpopular victory unfolding!

Lashmanova was like the new sensation... in 2012! It's been so many years I thought she simply retired after her ban and the whole Russian race walking went belly up since then anyway (like the whole event in general). Nobody cares about race walking apart from Latin America & Eastern Europe

Swiatek making it competitive vs past-prime Azarenka is still very acceptable.
Then again, Magda Linette has more WTA tournament wins than Eugenie Bouchard. There was always like ZERO hype for Linette in Polish media since day one.

I know that. I’m just flustered right now.
There’s just so much going on in my country and personal life at the moment, and it’s wearing me down. I know I don’t need to defend my reporting, but I’m just tired and mentally drained.
You're barely 21-22 yo? If you think life is tough at this age then sorry for the bad news, but life gets tougher once you get older. I wish I was in my early 20s again, those were some fun times

Who even still uses Facebook? Young people used it, then their parents and grandparents started using it so the young people moved to somewhere else, until the parents and grandparents start using that as well and so on
When US Congress calls Zuckerberg to tesity you know Facebook still moves the needle. And which social media will be the new evil empire once TokTok gets blocked in half of the world? Who remembers the time when MySpace was king? Names will change but social media will keep ruling the world. Just the owners will change...

Which I think is alright in some cases, and bad in others. For example in the case of a terrorist attack or some disaster or anything truly 'breaking' like that, the first thing I do is turn on CNN on TV and open a forum where people gather all kinds of tweets and such on my laptop. Social media has it's value, even though some people like to see it as all bad.
Terrorism itself has changed. The methods of IRA, ETA and Muslim fanatics of planting car bombs looks like kindergarten stuff nowadays. Moreover the very same social media has enabled these terrorists to improve their modus operandi. Facebook is massively powerful to the point it's been accused of rigging elections but it's only a matter of time before it collapses under it's own weight IMO.

Lashmanova is back? When did her doping ban end?

Just my personal opinion: the most 'neutral' and fact-based journalists usually don't put so much emphasis on their 'ethics and integrity' standards, simply because it's obvious from their work and they don't need to press it
Not meant as some sort of negative criticism or something, to be clear, just something I've noticed over the years.
The problem is - in 2020 anyone with a IG or twitter account can call themselves "freelance journalist". Time is money. Right now NOBODY has to wait until the morning to see what's been written in newspapers to find out what's going on. In 5 minutes you have 1,500 retweets and EVERYONE knows what's going on. Fact-checking has been massively devalued because nobody is willing to wait even two hours to deliver a news bomb. Welcome to XXI century!

Dustin Johnson needs to avoid bogey on the last two holes to win Tour Championships.

#1 women's doubles team Mladenovic & Babos have been kicked out of the tournament because state of New York wants to lock Mladenovic for the next week in quarantine ( as she was in contact with Paire). The Mannarino/Zverev delay was indeed over Mannarino refusing to be locked down as long as he is alive in the draw. Organizers eventually gave in to his demands but no such luck for Mladenovic.

If it tastes the same, feels the same and has the same nutritional values, why give a fuck where it comes from.
Yeah... and asbestos, morphine & nicotine were all once thought to be harmless as well.
People are apparently soooo for Mother Nature & planet Earth yet the same people advocate chemical & plastic food as "better". Go and figure.

I’m honestly surprised you don’t work for FOX, Breitbart, or InfoWars sometimes.
120+ Nobel Prize winners support the GMO food crap. Chemical food IS the future, the only question is when EU gives in

It was obvious Stephens can't get the job done. She doesn't have the work ethic. But Sakkari will run every ball down and that's a real problem for Williams.

huh ?
it is just another fulfillment of her pre-elections promise on the environmental agenda that´s all, I don´t get what it has in common with the country´s wealth
her medias statement explanation from yesterday
The first honey from bees from the Presidential Garden is proof that when we care for nature, it will reward us. ? The role of bees is irreplaceable and without them we wouldn't be here. Bees show us the interconnectivity of nature. They allow our gardens, balconies and crops to bloom.
Just yesterday there was a report that beekeepers from different parts of Slovakia recorded one of the worst years in the last thirty years. These are the consequences of the climate crisis, which causes major shifts in flowering of individual plant species, leading to short-term impacts and large bloom gaps.
To highlight the importance of bees and beekeeping, in May of this year we placed two bee colonies in the Presidential Garden as part of the project Municipal Bees, carried out by the Center of Environmental and Ethical Education ŽIVICA. Thanks to them, honey from the Presidential Garden will be able to be tasted by our partners at home and abroad, as I will use it as a presidential gift.
Her efforts make no difference in the global scale tbh. Then again, USA wants to dump GMO crap on Europe and Japanese are making hamburgers from cow shit so what's the point. In 50 years time kids will have no idea how real milk or butter tastes like
Plastic food is our future!

If Trump was posting similar stuff then CNN and Nancy Pelosi would lose their shit how dares he to waste time with such nonsense during the pandemic & economical disaster
