  1. Another gold for as Loic Meillard wins the slalom ahead of McGrath & Strasser. Noel went out from the lead after 1st run but he was losing time to Meillard anyway so would have been second or third at best IMO.
  2. Marco Schwarz lasted 8 seconds
  3. Vinatzer all over the place since gate five and dead last
  4. Noel & Meillard with some daylight ahead of the rest in run one. Jakobsen lasted 15 seconds as the first DNF.
  5. Since Sara 'Tortellini' Errani was mentioned in the doping thread might as well say she & Paolini won the Doha doubles title on MP #7 after an underhand serve was returned long. No wonder the returner collapsed on her knees after that one...
  6. Lindvik showed up for some good result again?
  7. I'm old enouh to remember the original Kuerten craze so this will be curious how Fonseca does on tour.
  8. Amanda Anisimova wins the biggest title of her career in Doha 1000 over Jelena Ostapenko 6-4 6-3 in the final. This means she moves into career-high #18 in the rankings - some 6 years after making Roland Garros SF at 17yo.
  9. Camille Rast wins slalom gold by 0.46 from Wendy Holdener. Liensberger with a mediocre run but holds off Moltzan by 0.02 for bronze. Shiffrin with som mistakes and down in 5th.
  10. And this ban will end 3 days before the start of Italian Open in Rome
  11. Clerc made it to the finish and isn't last!
  12. It's like a 75% DNF rate for numbers above 40 yet both made it to the finish
  13. Many DNFs among the lesser skiers now. They don't have stamina for this long course. Kiara Derks should hang on to 30th place with 7.35 secs deficit and will open the 2nd run! @heywoodu
  14. Camille Rast has laid down a good marker and leads by 0.58 after seven skiers ahead of Liensberger and Shiffrin. Holdener only 4th, Ljutic with a big mistake and over 2 seconds behind. Duerr also underwhelming and Hector dead last.
  15. Officially banned for 4 years now. https://www.espn.co.uk/olympics/trackandfield/story/_/id/43841042/olympic-silver-medal-race-walker-koki-ikeda-banned-4-years-doping
  16. Jelena Ostapenko remains in full control of Iga Świątek winning 6-3 6-1 in Doha SF. H2h is 5-0 now. Amanda Anisimova beat Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-3 6-3 in the second SF.
  17. Medal for Minkkinen The days when Finland has better results in biathlon than ski jumping Two in Top 30 is very good.
  18. Well, it helps the game itself was the most-watched Super Bowl of all time (126 million) As for the modern rap, neah, Snoop Dogg & 90s were better
  19. Brignone goes even faster and fastest 2nd run! 0.90 in front of Robinson. Moltzan with bronze 2.62 behind
  20. Robinson takes the lead by 1.72!!!! Now Brignone actually has to respond despite her lead?
  21. Moltzan beats Stjernesund by 0.01! Robinson & Brignone left.
  22. Gut-Behrami misses out by 0.05. 3 skiers left.
  23. Stjernesund takes the lead and might be good enough for a podium. 5 skiers left.
  24. Colturi finally deposes Britt Richardson from 1st place. 8 skiers left.
  25. Brignone with a big 0.67 lead over Robinson after the first run. Also Robinson with a big lead over third placed Moltzan.
