Sunday recap: Buffalo Bills beat Denver Broncos 31-7. Broncos kept it close in the first half then missed a FG as half-time clock expired and did nothing in the second half. Bills vs Ravens showdown in Divisional round incoming. Philadelphia Eagles beat Green Bay Packers 22-10. Packers offense and special teams were putrid, Jordan Love had 3 INT and once again looked mediocre (duh) vs a contender. Washington Commanders beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-20 in what was expected as the closest game of the lot. Zane Gonzalez hit a GW FG off the post as clock expired. It's the first playoff win for Washington (then Redskins) since 2005 season.

Lindsey Vonn in 4th and would have been on the podium if not for lost time in the last technical section. It's clear she's still got some juice (like riding a bike, aye) and overall the level of women's speed events has kinda dropped which means she can do some podium damage until WOG 2026

Baltimore Ravens beat Pittsburgh Steelers 28-14 in the second AFC wild card game. The game wasn't even that close as Ravens dominated with 298 rush yards and led 21-0 at half-time.

Houston Texans beat LA Chargers 32-12 in the first wild card. Texans played crap for 20 minutes but Chargers only kicked two FG early and did even less after that save for one TD heave when down three possessions. The extra point was blocked and returned for a 2 pt defensive touchdown.

The last time this happened - all three athletes on the podium had zero podiums before - was Les Saisies sprint in December 1990: Uschi Disl, Elena Melnikova (future Sergei Tchepikov's wife) & Kerstin Moring. The latter two never finished on the World Cup podium again. This was also the race where Disl became the second youngest World Cup winner ever (currently down to third because of Neuner).

The Monday wild card game between Rams & Vikings has been moved to Glendale (Arizona Cardinals' stadium) due to the fires in LA area.

Rams could well beat Vikings and this is a real coin toss. Sam Darnold's first playoff game and he looked bad vs Lions last weekend in the #1 seed decider already. This is one of these rare games when a wild card team has a much better record and the home team is the underdog on paper but Rams can pull this one off and it ends up being a "non-upset" upset.
