    Norway 3-1 up on the road v Italy. I'm sorry but Italy has tailed off massively since winning Euro. No real stars, just a bunch of also runs IMO.

    Don't understand your thinking. Tennis overall has gone into "only GS matter" mentality especially on the WTA side. That's the product of Wozniacki/Jankovic/Safina holding #1 ranking without winning a GS. Sadly of lot of sports in the last decade is chasing the mythical new Gen Z fans and goes for business & entertainment over the actual sport. Athletics, F1, you name it.

    Nominees for Polish Sports Personality of the Year (TBD in early January). I'd give it to Kubica for Le Mans 24h victory.

    It's a misconception though. The usual suspects will always prevail. The expansion outside of more games, more money only makes sure none of the big nations (from Europe & South America miss out). Nobody cares about potential feel good story from Tahiti or whatever. Football has become a business more than a sport these days.

    Elena Rybakina beat Aryna Sabalenka 6-3 7-6(0) to win the WTA YEC final. The Vukov drama is over and Rybakina claims her second biggest career title after Wimbledon!

    Julia Simon was given a six month ban by the French federation but five months suspended so she'll only miss the opening World Cup round in Ostersund

    Bad day for Blue Jays. The last guy in the Dodgers bullpen aka Will Klein threw over 70 pitches and they had Yamamoto warming up for the 19th inning? Crazy game that will surely go into MLB postseason lore.

    Thx. I have no idea about various Portuguese accents for obvious reasons though I realize it could vary between states (same for Spanish dialects changing between countries).

    Found this on YT. The guy really sucks hehe. Btw, I never heard "Vashco" being pronounced like that. And I watched Vasco games with original commentary before.
