    Chandela is the not even top 4 shooter in India in 10m air rifle. Elavenil and Anjum are 1 and 2 so it's ridiculous that Apurvi got the spot ahead of her based on 2019 performance. They compensated by giving Anjum air rifle mixed.

    @Dolby Is there anyway Apurvi could still miss Tokyo like social media campaign or something ?. Anjum has been deprived of a sure Olympic Final. And Apurvi is in such such such terrible form. Manu can still improve her 25m , Deepak is not good but still Apurvi Is awful

    I'm suprised that you got the concept completely wrong. 1 boat per NOC per event qualifies. So it's just 1 laser radial quota max.

    Not happy with the selection of Indian team. Apurvi is not in form clearly and so is Deepak Kumar. At least Anjum is there in mixed rifle 10m along with 503p but she concentrated so much on 10m that I don't know what to expect in 503p. Moreover Deepak underwent some surgery I don't know why the current form should not have been taken into account. Maybe Chinki was better than Manu for 25m. And Arjun/Aishwarya IN 10 m air rifle men. Definitely not happy with the squad.

    I don't think so even if he had won he'd lose to Tunisia. Fafe still should qualify. Even Midana has decent chance. Don't consider all Moroccans and Algerians the same. Even if Midana faced the Moroccan he'd have won within 2 minutes I feel.

    Actually both federations don't deserve a quota here. They can't nurture their best wrestlers here. Senegal could have won 125 kg quota . But he's not participating today. Madagascar had excellent chance in 86kg where their wrestler won by fall against today's Nigerian and Guniea Bissau Opponent by fall and won silver at last world championships. But he's not participating in the tournament.

    Oh that BWF has got no work. No problem the scoring system will not change. No athlethe wants that boring system which kills the coemback in a game and returns to 2000s where a similiar scoring was there.

    Oh well didn't know about it Means there is a bigg chance that Burkina Faso now has a Olympic wrestler. Having competed at 68kg at world champs narrowly losing to Azerbaijan athlete and missing the event here Yvette Zie could still make it to Tokyo. I don't see any better contender other than her in that weight for Tripartite place

    Both the 76kg quotas going to undeserving wrestlers. No 2(I feel No3 she would be) and No 4 in africa . Mysterious to see the favourite No 1 and 2 from Nigeria and Burkina Faso respectively missing .

    Nothing much left for Ivory Coast End of the day 2! Will be remembered for that semis win by Guam and Guinea.

    With just 16 quotas there was not a single invitational quota for anyone so that was the only opportunity

    Aquino sisters not having a bad day after all. Youth Olympian Lahnee leading against the Egyptian made me happy for some time. Maybe her younger sister can learn from her in the semis which would be harder but interestingly it's the weakest Tunisian athlethe in the squad yet it'll be the only opportunity Guam gets this tournament that close.

    Camara's bold stratergy of losing 6kgs to represent Guinea in 57kg seems to have worked brilliantly.
