Oh well I can't even laugh at this because Netherlands aren't winning 14/14 ,the maximum could be 8 and realistic 6-7G. No US isn't dominating snowboard at all. Japan, Czech Republic, Austria were some of nations who won gold among those events I watched.And ice hockey is a team sport where I don't mind any 1 team dominating.

Sliding sports have become Unwatchable now I think we need a rule Similiar to youth Olympic Games. One nation can participate in any 2 events each in luge and bob and 1 in skeleton. But the events they participate they can have 3 in that if they qualify. It's crazy but has put a lot of money in technology making their sleds the best in the world. Time for to break the dominance today it's tough despite the lead if German wins again I don't plan to watch any sliding in future except the Sigulda World Cups every season.

Then onwards they have won in only 2 disciplines - Aerials and Biathlon They are not having the right waxes this time around I guess. So individual and maybe an outside chance in mass start for medal else no medal these games. Alimbekava missed it yesterday luckily Smolski has done it today. If the Olympics would be in Austria and biathlon in Hochfilzen Smolski would have won gold by around 1-1:30 mins advantage coz they train there ample opportunity to research on the best waxes.

Women's 500m was good. But please don't put a short track poll again I don't want to guess because we all know china may do anything to win. I was watching short track with my friends and we were really amazed by the Korean guy's move and for us Hwang will always be the Olympic champion. Now the interest is going coz we kinda know that if you are behind the Chinese u will get penalty if you overtake them but if they overtake you they won't be given any penalty. Great justice.

Biathlon was poorly presented overall . I then remembered that even I don't like biathlon at Olympics it was just that I watched a world cup when I was bored during pandemic and I found it awesome and enjoyed the sport. Short Track meanwhile hit the bullseye. Awesome sport, lots of surprises , fun and all my friends whom I forced to watch asked for it's complete schedule and future tournaments... The TV channel broadcasting the games here has utilized the free time caused by no downhill to show short track replay from yesterday .

The biathlon I watched didn't feel like Biathlon at all. If the right things are not told half of the interest is gone. I just hope the individual races will be nicer, Norway seem to be winning the rest of them with that ski speed.

Yeah it was on both olympic channel and TV channel. First they only were comparing the teams with 2018 Olympics performance then from great difficulty had some stats from the season, she has 5 podiums, he has 3 podiums blah blah.. I bet they knew nothing in detail abt the World Cups or the athletes except for who are brothers who are the sisters competing today.

Wierer was very good in Antholz with good ski speed and shooting then today there's nothing of it at all. Perhaps she peaked early with her ski form same with Hana Sola who has gone downhill after Oberhof.
