    It's unlikely any new scratch pair will be formed. During mixed team event they may form just for practice but otherwise no new pair. In best case scenario Satwik may pair with Treesa or Gayathri for 2nd XD and that's it, others are not even remotely happening for individual events

    She made it through an extremely difficult national trials to qualify for Uber Cup and Asian Games, India's youngest ever badminton player to do so..

    She's just 2 years younger than Yamaguchi and WS post 26/28 becomes harder. So need to be quick and improve on decreasing errors unlike today, really hate to see Akarshii winning the trials one of the worst players , who just plays long rallies and drop shots no jump smash no good defense.

    Better than gayathri they can rotate back and front well. But Tanisha is making many errors hence they lost XD finals today despite Ishaan improving sooo much.

    A very spicy situation at the badminton trials. Kiran George looks favourite for the final MS spot in Thomas Cup For CWG : Gayathri is having slight injury so suddenly WD is open and I think Shruthi / Crasto will be the favourites now XD will be Ashwini /Sumeeth Reddy WS is still open with Ashmita Chaliha having the edge over Kashyap. Great to see Unnati in the mix too.

    Don't worry about the window. If Qatar wants it they will get it. No matter the games are held in October or December they have the money to compensate the media for it's losses.

    You understand Hindi? Btw leagues and all are good for the players but eagerly awaiting for the World Cup (standard style itself) which I can't see in immediate future. The last International Kabaddi tournament was Baghbandhu Cup 2022. Here are a few links if you wish to watch. @Griff88 Post AG 2018 Indonesia doesn't seem interested in the sport at all. Losing to Iraq.

    Aren't there any replay or sailing wc? Or have the world sailing stopped broadcasting post 2020 due to cash crunch?

    Also not sure there will be 5 + 5 in women it could be 4+6 too with Ashwini Bhat - Shika the 3rd pair though I don't like it. Also to note is CWG MS : 2 or 3 Sen, Shrikanth and / or 1 more WS :2 OR 3 (Sindhu , Anupama and/or 1 more) XD : 1 (Tanisha /Ishaan OR Arjun /Treesa or Ashwini/Satwik ) MD: 1 (Satwik/Chirag) WD : 1 (Treesa/Gayathri) 5 men + 5 women can be selected for CWG. So accordingly permutations.

    I agree with this team . But women's singles is a bit open and I'll go with Unnati Hooda and maybe Aditi Bhat/Tasnim instead of Ashmita and Akarshii who can't even smash properly.

    I hope there won't be a big fuss on the issue, yes the governance isn't the best, but it's impossible to make sure there is 0% doping either.

    I can put my money on it that Saina can't progress through qualifier. She may lose to any of the ' actual ' top 10 in women's singles in India.

    It's not like they have a lot of competition here so they may prefer training at their centres , or could be injuries. Priya might want to try something new since she's young hoping for more competition

    Don't know if Pullella Gopichand would have the guts to abandon her daughter in favor of a strong pair If it does happen they could be world beaters. With both of them having great defence and hard and jump smashes in them they'd eventually kill japanese and Chinese style of defensive doubles and make it more attacking like Men's Doubles.

    INDIA Mizo songs usually strike the right notes here in TISC. The last time we had a mizo entry we achieved our best ever finish in TOISC. And I don't think we could have had a better entry for this year!! p.s : English translation is given in the video.

    I totally agree here. One can skip the entire day's events and make arrangements for multiple viewing options from 7 - 11pm Paris Time and it would be like entire games are covered. Nonetheless concentrating on too many things doesn't make for a nice experience
