Teams for 3x3 Tournaments are known The teams for the first IIHF-sanctioned 3-on-3 ice hockey tournaments are known. Female and male junior players will play in mixed teams at the upcoming 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne next January. The athletes for the eight men’s and eight women’s team qualified through the National Skills Challenge that served as qualification event in the 40 participating countries. Each team will consist of 13 athletes (11 skaters, 2 goaltenders) who will in each case join from 13 different National Olympic Committees.
