dcro 10,182 Posted November 16, 2019 Author #241 Share Posted November 16, 2019 (edited) After cross-country... Pratoni del Vivaro CCI4*-L Rafael Mamprin Losano (Fuiloda) - 32.50 + 17.20 Carlos Parro (Calcourt Landline) - 30.50 + 11.20 Bao Yingfeng (Teseo) - 34.40 + 17.20 Bianba Ciren (Tropic d'Heauville) - 38.50 + RET (No MER!) Sun Huadong (Lady Chin van't Moerven) - 35.80 + 26.80 Arinadtha Chavatanont (Bolleybawn Prince) - 36.00 + 12.40 + Merel Blom (Ceda) - 27.70 + 15.60 Ocala Jockey Club CCI4*-L Nilson Moreira da Silva (Cash) - 47.60 (No MER!) + EL Nilson Moreira da Silva (Rock Phantom) - 37.90 + 24.80 It's looking good for all, however the horse inspection and show jumping can not be taken for granted. Blom dropped to 11th place, causing Russia to stay firmly on top of the reallocation list. However, this will be irrelevant if Brazil, China and Thailand make it. This is also pretty much the last chance to secure individual quota places. Francisco Gavino climbed from 28th to 9th today. If he can move up to 8th or higher, then Spain will likely take a surprise quota! Edited November 16, 2019 by dcro #banbestmen
dcro 10,182 Posted November 17, 2019 Author #242 Share Posted November 17, 2019 (edited) Looks like everyone in Pratoni passed the second inspection. Now only show jumping is left. EDIT: Not quite. Parro withdrew overnight. Edited November 17, 2019 by dcro #banbestmen

dcro 10,182 Posted November 17, 2019 Author #244 Share Posted November 17, 2019 Francisco Gavino has done it too... He climbed to 8th - enough to clinch a quota for Spain. Later on I'll post the final analysis of the individual qualification. Cobi and Jur 1 1 #banbestmen
Cobi 947 Posted November 17, 2019 #245 Share Posted November 17, 2019 (edited) Wow! That quota would be completely unexpected and I don't think we deserve it considering how our federarion doesn't care at all about eventing... dcro 10,182 Posted November 17, 2019 Author #247 Share Posted November 17, 2019 Brazil is now in an interesting situation. They have Rafael Losano and Marcelo Tosi qualified from this year, and also Marcio Jorge from 2018 WEG. I think that's enough, however 2018 WEG was not a "pure" 5* event, so maybe it's not enough by itself... Let's just hope da Silva completes his requirements in Ocala, and thus leaves us without any doubts. #banbestmen

I guess Canada will qualify through Pan Ams, as Erynn Ballard was ahead of Guatemala (first non-qualifier). #banbestmen
