Pretty sure is already qualified. A lot of tie-breaking scenarios but they cannot finish the championships below can only have two of / / pass them in total points since they can only finish 8th or higher. -

There's also F1 Chinese Grand Prix held on the same weekend. Distance between Nanjing & Shanghai is relative small given the size of the country alas I reckon athletics tickets will be cheaper. -
