Three men in top 20, and yet we could easily miss out on Finn quota... Guys need to wake up for the next two races.

It isn't exactly helpful to see :CAN:USA possibly taking World quotas, and causing the continental quota to be wasted on :CUB or something... WS should know better with so few quotas on offer.

Most of the quotas are given through the 2018 and 2019 World Championships so for the most part the top nations are qualifying. Besides the only event where both Canada and the United States are in qualifying positions is the Laser Radial, which isn't too bad considering 44 nations will compete. There are a couple of chances for the 2019 Worlds. It's definitely no Australia/New Zealand where both nations will likely qualify in almost all of the events between the two World Championships.

So Olujić is right now holding both last medal race place and last quota in Finn.

But... :FRA 3 pts back, :BRA 5 pts, :TUR 6 pts, :USA 10 pts, :NOR 12 pts... This can't possibly end well. :p

No, I don't think 49ers will be coming out today.

Currently still chances for 4 quota but we could end up with 0 as well

really awful day for the whole male team today

Finn will be decided today apparently. One more race is planned, but if it gets cancelled then it's over...

They would then finish after 8 races and have a medal race only?

are the points in medal race still count double?

    • c'mon! stop those idiots! they're trying hard to ruin athletics in almost every aspect (road running, field events, the same cross country that has already been killed in practice)   please, someone shoot to death Coe and his accolades as soon as possible!!!
    • That's only if they don't listen to Trump's 48 hour deadline. But that is permanently 48 hours away, since, well, TACO.
    • I agree NO to Poomsae!!!   I think they plan to introduce 6 weight classes after LA instead of 8 right now, and those 6 should become Olympic instead of current 4 weights. Going forward world and Olympic ranking could be identical.    But it’s not clear if that means more quotas. Having 6 classes with 64 athletes per gender would be a joke. A reasonable taekwondo competition needs at least 16 athletes per weightclass. But I am not sure taekwondo can get another 64 quotas in total, I doubt it.    beside that I am not happy with the newly proposed weight classes, they give much more focus on light weight athletes, which will be an advantage for Asian countries mainly.    if the proposal is accepted the new weightclasses will be:    Female: 46kg, 51kg, 57kg, 63kg,70kg and +70kg    Male: 54kg, 60kg, 67kg,74kg, 82kg, +82kg
