Second listen done and dusted. Still feels like a very weird Annual. Up-beat songs are far less represented than usual.

 

Lots of beautiful entries, though. Since there was a lot of movement on my scoreboard, I decided to keep all 30 remaining entries at this stage...

Just for the sake of it, here are the (hidden) combined rankings after the two completed listens.

 

Scores given in the last column are just those rankings multiplied. It is a system I borrowed from sport climbing.

That's why I have the two bracket system after the first listen. I feel like it's highly impossible to rank 30 songs from 1 to 30 at the same time, because 5-6 songs in, you don't really remember the context why certain songs ranked low/high and which song should be better than the other. I imagine it's hell to listen to the final 5 songs and figure out where to place them correctly  

 

Slightly easier in smaller doses.

Well, considering I did not consult previous rankings before starting the second listen, I am reasonably happy that my Top 13 from the second listen are the same as Top 13 overall.

 

And there is a good reason why that one song dropped from 10th to 27th. One major flaw came to my attention.

I'm somewhat interested what caused a drop like that  too bad my curiosity can't be fulfilled.

You are still in better position than for example me, there is still 20 songs in the race for points and I have just few hours left to vote

The host jury just send their votes to neutral user. This means that all 36 nations are right now allowed to send votes to host jury member (@rybak). You have to chose 12 best songs according you and also 3 reserve songs in case if an nation would miss sending votes on time, which I believe won't happen  . The deadline of voting is Friday, 2nd April at 23:00 Central European Summer Time (GMT+2). Good luck everyone!
