Let's have the forecasting for the Olympics:
Shooting: 14-15 (One WC is in Delhi)
Wrestling: 12 (Men FS: 5, Women FS: 5, GR: 2)
Hockey: 2 teams
Archery: 2 teams
Badminton: 4 (Singles), 3 teams - MS: 2, WS: 2, MD: 1, WD: 1, XD: 1
Boxing: Inclusion TBD This would be all from medal perspective.

These are from the mainstream sports. Does not include Athletics which has provided the maximum number of entries.

Shooting: Delhi WC is already done. We should have 2-3 in each of Men's Rifle/Pistol and Women's Rifle/Pistol. In Shotgun, I think it is 1-3 in Men and 0-1 in Women. So, total should be around 12-13.

Wrestling: Qualifying 5/6 in both Men's FS and Women's FS would be really hard. We are not that good in heavier classes. Also, 2 in GR would be dream come true. Reallistically, we should have 8-9 wrestlers.

Hockey: both teams should qualify

Archery: I am expecting atleast one team to miss the bus.

Badminton: Agree.

    • I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.
    • Belgium is the luckiest in this story
    • One of the worst possible draw for us. Group really easy but having to face  or  in the Round of 32 is devastating.
    • Always dreamed Gretzky will draw Slovakia was another moment I can already remove from my things to do before die list
    • Finland have been awful in almost all winter sports, well beside ice hockey and cross-country from time to time, for a lot of years. It's very good to see them building people to challenge for wins again. Their new coach has done wonders it seems.
    • 14th June in Philadelphia against Cote d´Ivoire   20th June inToronto against Curacao   and 25th June in Philadeplphia to kick out  home    Not easy, but not the most difficult group. Should be okay. Vamos
