do not enrcuste yourself in this because sicilia should be independente too

Sadly the people that want the Sicily indipendent are very few.

Only right indipendence in Italy is the South Tirol (some Italian sportmen are from here, like Tania Cagnotto or Dorothea Weirer) , that speak another lenguage and they have another history.

And damn, i hate their accent :lol;

Erdogan says Iraqi Kurds risk ‘ethnic war’ and threatens military response to vote

Erdogan has warned that the referendum on support for independence for Iraqi Kurdistan next door risks sparking an "ethnic war" in the region.

If Erdogan says A, the right answer is by definition B. No matter the topic :p

I, for one, am totally in agreement with bestmen's rampage :pope:

Kick Amsterdam out/make them independent (and while they're at it, take Rotterdam and The Hague too, and Utrecht as well), let Friesland (the northern province) become independent because they're weird anyway and kick Limburg (the southern province) out as well since they're not even Dutch apparently, they sound more like Belgians or even, God forbid, Germans. Shoo, leave! :spank:

Okay, but all I want to know is how this leaves us with darts? Ireland's chance of a top 8 seed in the World Cup is all but vanished I presume :cry:

    • I think the Dutch men (especially in long distances) are simply not good enough. We've been leaders in long distances for decades, but we've always had great talents like De Jong, Romme, Bergsma, Kramer, and Roest. They're not around right now, so we're focusing more on short distances, but there's a certain Stolz who reigns supreme.   What I've noticed is that many newcomers (Jilek, Lubineaud etc) originally come from inline skating. The Netherlands should look into that too. We also need to be open to new training methods, like those of the Swede Nils Svensson, who won two gold medals in Beijing with a unique training regime.   Good luck with Ghiotto, I will definitely cheer for him: such a friendly person and a beautiful skater. He really deserves a gold medal.

    • The all Dutch men seemed out of form in Inzell. Could this mean some intense strength training during this period? Overall, I think that, the progress in the men's long-distance events has been incredible since last year and I have the impression that both Ghiotto and the Netherlands team haven't caught on to some new equipment updates? The times achieved this season by: Eitrem, Jilek, Lubinaud, Semyrunyyi and Davson are incredible in terms of time progress year by year. But considering the financial potential of the Netherlands, I'm surprised they could have to by left behind technologically? Unfortunately, this doesn't surprise me in Italy's case, as we don't even have a single indoor track to test our technological innovations – the one in Milan is currently inaccessible even to the hosts. Of course, if Italy were a normal country, who supported their own athletes, the track in Milan should have been available only for the Italian team for many months ago, where would be testing various innovations there, but unfortunately that is not the case, because we live where we live
