Great news from Slovenia! Pahor and Sarec will go to the ballot for the president election and both are from centre-left.

Probably - I hope - Pahor will win the ballot :d

Why is that by definition great news? :p

Centre-left doesn't automatically mean something is good :d

Anyone can beat Cristina to be honest... we will see realistic election results when she isn't around anymore.

You are rigth but there are important defeats without her, like Menem in La Rioja.

But that's another dinosaur :p I think cambiemos won mostly because of distaste for some politicians rather than people turning all to "liberalism". It's all about Cristina... people in Santa Fe for example don't vote for Rossi, they vote for her and people that vote for cambiemos there, also vote... against her.

Well but that dinosaur won for 10%diference in the Primaries elections, do you think this is liberalism?, there arent any argentinian liberalism who considerer this goverment like liberalism, for me is a moderate socialist goverments, for another liberals is a marxist- not Leninist goverment, is less statist like the montonerism goverment of Cristina and thats a good thing for the people who thinks like me.......but its far away of a goverment like we want.

I agree about is all about Cristina and the kirchnerism, you appoint the example of Santa Fe, is funny because the satafesism vote on purpose Rossi for being the wortst peronism candidate in Santa Fe to lose the elections after, is the third time they do this.

It hasn't been full liberalism yet because they didn't have much power in congress until now. Cut subsidies, cut taxes, pro-market reforms, less power for workers unions, those are the laws that are coming and they are textbook liberalism. It is isn't "libertarianism" if you want, but still, saying it's socialist is a bit ridiculous.

Politics

Now that we finally have a new government after the elections (months ago), some ministries will get a new name. The most important one: the Ministry of Safety and Justice changes names to.........Ministry of Justice and Safety. And yes, that is going to costs millions of euros because paper for letters, envelops, all kinds of signs, accounts, email addresses etc have to be changed.

Come on

The states regulation of everything continues, the fiscal deficit is still very big, without the taxes for the minery and the exportation of agricultural products, there arent any cut taxes, in fact we still having one of the biggest tax presure in the world, the union workers have in your country  more power than in the mostpart of the world, i dont remember that like a liberalism rule, its a necesity in our country.

    • I think the Dutch men (especially in long distances) are simply not good enough. We've been leaders in long distances for decades, but we've always had great talents like De Jong, Romme, Bergsma, Kramer, and Roest. They're not around right now, so we're focusing more on short distances, but there's a certain Stolz who reigns supreme.   What I've noticed is that many newcomers (Jilek, Lubineaud etc) originally come from inline skating. The Netherlands should look into that too. We also need to be open to new training methods, like those of the Swede Nils Svensson, who won two gold medals in Beijing with a unique training regime.   Good luck with Ghiotto, I will definitely cheer for him: such a friendly person and a beautiful skater. He really deserves a gold medal.

    • The all Dutch men seemed out of form in Inzell. Could this mean some intense strength training during this period? Overall, I think that, the progress in the men's long-distance events has been incredible since last year and I have the impression that both Ghiotto and the Netherlands team haven't caught on to some new equipment updates? The times achieved this season by: Eitrem, Jilek, Lubinaud, Semyrunyyi and Davson are incredible in terms of time progress year by year. But considering the financial potential of the Netherlands, I'm surprised they could have to by left behind technologically? Unfortunately, this doesn't surprise me in Italy's case, as we don't even have a single indoor track to test our technological innovations – the one in Milan is currently inaccessible even to the hosts. Of course, if Italy were a normal country, who supported their own athletes, the track in Milan should have been available only for the Italian team for many months ago, where would be testing various innovations there, but unfortunately that is not the case, because we live where we live
