Yeah I've been watching all of the shorttrack today right here: https://eyof.tv/.

Thanks! Although by the looks of it, that's live-only, unfortunately :(

:SVK Day 1 Summary:

As already mentioned hearthbreaking 2-3 loss to Finland with the winning goal scored at 59:41 of the match..

Semifinal in Boys 1500 Short Track for Karabín and hard luck for Tamara Tokárová among girls after the crash caused by one of her TUR opponent, however for some reason the jury did not advance her from the heats

As expected complete inexistance in Cross-Country Skiing

Nice extensive coverage of the cross-country skiing by YLE yesterday*, like I hoped for :d

It seems that the classic races of today can't be seen anywhere though, correct? Not on YLE, and it seems eyof.tv will only have shorttrack :(

*they do need to learn a bit about camera work around the races and what they do and don't show...I'm fairly certain they weren't meant to show one of the athletes with the lower body entirely in the nude in the warmup/changing area...be responsible if you're a camera person.

YLE shows the biathlon today, buuuutttt with their own faulty graphics: during the shooting they do show a graphic with five targets, but they don't show a number of misses :p

Also in intermediate results: no number of misses..

:SVK Day 2 Summary:

Celebrations of the First medal but also disappointements for Team Slovensko today

Tamara Tokárová won our first (hopfully not last) medal today, bronze in Short Track Girls 500m and improved her mood after yesterday's controversial mistake of the referees in he 1500m heat.

Disappointement for Jakub Borguľa in Boys Biathlon sprint, despite again very good skiing just like in Soldier Hollow 2 weeks ago, the 3 misses (especially the 2 in the standing)  send him too far back, to the 18th place. But already declared he will go all in to fix this in the individual.

End of dream also for our girls in a very tough group lost after yesterday´s 2-3 defeat to FIN also today to :SWE this time 1-3 :( and will have to play just for the 5th place in the Girls hockey tournament.

Among other good results it is worth to mention the 0+0 clear shooting of Kristína Makovínyová which put her to 13th place in the Girls Biathlon sprint and valuable 5th Qualification place of Martin Józsa in the Boys Snowboarding Slopestyle.

Well, a gold medal is pretty amazing for us. I believe it is the first one from WEYOF. And all our previous medals came in alpine skiing, and some time ago.

Had some hopes after Dante placed 2nd in the qualification yesterday (in his group), so while not entirely unforeseen, still pretty great. :yes
