Ján Kozák is no longer National Team coach of :SVK He resigned today. Logical outcome after the tragically miserable performances the team was performing last couple of games, the final nail in the coffin was yesterday absolutely shameful and disgusting effort in the Nations League derby against :CZE .

He became the NT coach in July 2013 after the team failed to qualify for Brazil WC 2014, He immediately succeeded, qualifying Slovakia for the first time ever to an EURO in France 2016 and reached the Round of 16 there, then barely missed the play-offs for Russia 2018 WC, we was the only 2nd ranked country that did not qualified for the play-Offs and since then the atmosphere within the team was quickly dropping, During his charge, we played 54 matches, we won 29, 10 draws and lost 15, with score 80:48. He moved our team to the 14th place of FIFA ranking in August 2015 (Our historic record) during that period we won 9 consecutive matches (12 of 13 games).

but in the last months/weeks it was clearly visible there something wrong actually around our NT.

and

Yesterdays shame just finished the thing. Kozák announced today his resignation. The name of the new coach will be known later.

That´s really shame.

In other side, the whole this Nations League thing is just a useless and unnecessary competition. I don´t see any sense or value in this tournament. So I would not take too much importance in the results

Same here if we does not win in Prague next month. but really who cares ? it has no influences at all, we still have to play the qualifiers for EURO and next Nations League is considered to be played after another 2 years, so... :d
