This start was seriously the most WATTS thing of this Olympics so far

 

I already re-watched the start 2 times and can not stop laughing definitely must be too early morning for the starter to not see literally a whole boat 2 meters from the start lol

He has fleed from Syria together with his brother and is living with a Dutch family nowadays. Not competing for EOR, but definitely a refugee.

Anyway really glad ITU will be certainly sued by some federations, maybe athletes themselves for denying their olympic dream. I see some countries still decided to not enter all their athletes like with Richard Murray farce.

 

But some athletes like Varga could not compete here because of your fantastic idea and strategy. very well done ITU. Bravo.

So 9 athletes in the leading group, 24 in the second group. We got our two Hungarians in the second group, but the gap is slightly increasing.

And of course which qualified for the mixed, but whose men didn't fulfill the national criteria and so they are only allowed to start in the mixed

It looks like we will have a larger leading group soon, the race is very open.

They have been in the past: hard to tell now.   Alex Yee was a European 10,000m U-20 Champion.
