Very happy for Lara Gut, what an incredible race and winning momentum, fifth Super G of the season and of course WORLD CHAMPION in Super G!

Many times she has been unlucky but this season is paying her off. Glad she took the gold medal. Corine Sutter Silver (a bit of surprise)

And very glad Mikaela got that bronze medal after everything she went through this last year. Small mistake near the end that almost made her go out but she pulled it and finish! The split times were AMAZING almost 1 full second ahead but then the near disaster strike but sill was enough for the podium.

Ledecka 4th with also a mistake.

This will give Mikaela lots of confidence coming next monday Super Combined (Super G + Slalom) right now is some days off as she wont race the downhill

Romed Baumann silver medal was shocking as the 4th place from the canadian skier! starting 28th Bib

What a dull race. Lots of wasted runs due to drifting. Ugh.

Next time stay at home if you are not going for it (or consult Baumann, Seger).

With the first quarter of the run as exception, I don't think I've ever seen a more boring super-G course. Dear lord what a shitshow.

Bassino & Brignone skipped the trainings - I suppose they don't believe the combine will take place or what?

KV Lie for once further back in training, I wonder if she can win a medal here? WIth Goggia out it's anyone's guess. Gut, Suter, Johnson & Lie are my four names to have the biggest chance.

But it's still the same Tofana course? It's not like Italians don't know it like the back of their hand. But then why even enter in DH training?

Are they using the new course the men did yesterday, though?

Yes it is the Tofana course! But do you think the two have a chance on a medal?
For me we have 4 really big favorites in the combined: Shiffrin, Vlhova, Gisin and Holdener.

Brignone and Bassino are Not Good enough in Slalom and even not good at Super G at the Moment. It will be a big surprise if they finish in a medal position, therefore the others need to failure.

    • So, JTB and Tarjei had 19 podium finishes in 2024/25, seeing as they're retired and won't be competing next season, thought it would be fun to do a completely unnecessary and inaccurate simulation of what breakthroughs next season might have:   The most decorated biathletes of this season without Boes would be as follows:   Laegreid: 6-6-3 Perrot: 4-2-2 Jacquelin: 3-1-1 Samuelsson: 2-2-2 Stroemsheim: 2-0-2 Wright: 2-0-1 Fillon-Mallet: 1-5-2 Giacomel: 1-5-1 Uldal: 1-0-3 Soerum: 1-0-2   Some interesting things happen, for example, Wright becomes sprint and pursuit world champion, Mandzyn gets a very rare podium for Ukraine at the start of the season. Horn and Frey get their first ever podium in world cup and Riethmueller gets a world cup victory.   For the nation medal table, Norway still convincingly takes first place:   Norway: 10-7-11 France: 8-11-5   And then everybody else fighting for scraps:   Sweden: 2-2-3 United States: 2-0-1 Italy: 1-5-1 Germany: 1-0-2 Slovenia: 1-0-0   Even without the Boes, only 9 countries on the podium, but Pidruchnyi for Ukraine comes in 4th for three times, other than that, only Finland and Switzerland were close to getting onto the podium. With how things are going, seems like it's going to be Norway's year next year too with all the hungry youngsters with two extra spots on the Norwegian team.
